Pushing Pause on the Podcast. Maycember, Teaching Elementary Students, & My Podcast Guesting Program, with Julie Berman

6 Years Recording. Every Other Wednesday. Countless Women with Cool Jobs. No sponsors. Just inspiration!Saying that this podcast has changed my life is an understatement. These women are trailblazing, innovating, and leading across industries, trades, and businesses. They have shared their stories with such passion, chutzpah, and the gift of a raw and unfiltered look at the behind-the-scenes and in-the-weeds details that we don't get to see by scrolling highlight reels on Instagram or seeing updates on LinkedIn. It has given me so much perspective and a whole lot more curiosity in reconsidering what's possible, evaluating the risks worth taking, questioning how I think, and more. For the moment, I am pushing the pause button and taking a break from podcasting to create some time for family and a bit of space for summer. So keep close, as there is no way I am stopping for good...because I love it too dang much. And, if you want more access to me, my resources and coaching on getting clarity and confidence when podcast guesting, I want to invite you to visit womenwithcooljobs.com and send a message or DM me @womencooljobs on Insta. If you'd love to watch the video version of the interviews, be sure to subscribe to the podcast's YouTube channel HERE.Send Julie a text!!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I absolutely LOVE being the host and producer of "Women with Cool Jobs", where I interview women who have unique, trailblazing, and innovative careers. Are You The Gatekeeper? Why You Need To Open The Gates and Share Your Story! with Host Julie Berman (Shorties ep.)

Are you the gatekeeper? When I first started my degree in journalism and PR, we often talked about the gatekeepers in traditional media… the publisher, the producer, the journalist, the editor. Other people were in charge of deciding if your voice would be heard on television, in print media, or on the radio. The gatekeepers controlled the access.Podcasting allows you to share your story in the most real, deep, authentic way...simply as you. You don't have to wait until someone gives you permission or grants you access.Take this episode as your permission slip to open the gates! Stop being your own gatekeeper. Share your story. More women need to be sharing so we can dream into the possibilities and examples we hear. It matters more than you know. Now, you can watch guest podcast episodes on YouTube HERE!! Contact Info:Julie Berman - Hostwww.womenwithcooljobs.com@womencooljobs (Instagram)Julie Berman's LinkedIn Profile Send Julie a text!!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I absolutely LOVE being the host and producer of "Women with Cool Jobs", where I interview women who have unique, trailblazing, and innovative careers. Isn't It Ironic? Why I Never Thought I'd Be Sharing My Podcast on YouTube, with Host Julie Berman

When I started the podcast in early 2020, my goal with doing an audio format was two-fold: So women could share their own stories in their own voice. To avoid, at ALL costs, being on camera.Haha. Almost six years later, and I have found myself completely re-evaluating!I chat about the irony of now experimenting with publishing this podcast as AUDIO and as VIDEO on YouTube when that was the absolute opposite of what I wanted at the beginning. Being HEARD was scary enough. The thought of being SEEN, too, was absolutely, positively NOT an option.Never say never, because the combination of iterating and my curiosity are leading to something new... And I'm doing it all in "Done, Not Perfect" style! Find this episode on YouTube: https://youtu.be/s5YpldHexW4Contact Info:Julie Berman - Hostwww.womenwithcooljobs.com@womencooljobs (Instagram)Julie Berman (LinkedIn)Send Julie a text!!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I absolutely LOVE being the host and producer of "Women with Cool Jobs", where I interview women who have unique, trailblazing, and innovative careers.
