06/16/26: Minnesota Lieutenant Governor and Democrat endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate Peggy Flanagan says the state needs to move up it’s primary election. The primary election is August 11th, Flanagan says the turnaround to the November election can be difficult for candidates. Flanagan is running against Congresswoman Angie Craig for the U.S. Senate seat of Tina Smith, who is retiring. Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks become the Woodchippers on June 12

06/12/26: Joel Heitkamp is joined by the President of the FM Redhawks, Brad Thom, to talk about their season and theme game tonight. Tonight they’ll become the Fargo Woodchippers - In honor of Fargo’s unique cinematic tie to the trusty piece of machinery, the RedHawks will become the Fargo Woodchippers for five games this summer, with tonight being the first. Josh Boschee joins Joel in the KFGO studio after being elected mayor of Fargo

06/10/26: State Sen. Josh Boschee declared victory Tuesday night in a crowded five-way race to become Fargo’s next mayor, as voters also shook up the city commission and overwhelmingly approved an infrastructure tax extension. Boschee, a Democrat-NPL lawmaker representing Fargo’s District 44, secured nearly 47% of the vote. He comfortably outpaced his closest challenger, City Commissioner Michelle Turnberg, who finished second with 27% of the ballots cast. Read more at KFGO.com.
