About the show

Hey there, Welcome to “Marketing EdVenture with Jacque’ Walker”, THE HUB for Business, Fashion, Marketing, and other CTE Educators that integrate marketing into the learning experience. I’m a former educator who taught 14 years in a magnet school crafting a 4-year Fashion Marketing program; 3-year dual credit Visual Presentation certification; and certified entrepreneurship academy while being a DECA advisor. I have over 20 years of experience in sales, retail management, and project management. My mission is to equip secondary educators with marketing resources to connect the classroom to digital natives while cultivating an engaged learning environment. I’ve curated this space to disseminate information and collaborate with thought leaders in all aspects of marketing to: • Foster development and growth in fashion classes and programs, • Support business, fashion, and marketing CTSO advisors and sponsors, • Provide multiple prep educators guidance along the way, • Encourage targeted career exploration, • Expose post-secondary education opportunities, • Facilitate project-managed classrooms, • And so much more. People you can expect to join us here are master educators; CTE administration and personnel; industry experts; and trailblazing alumni who’ve applied their high school marketing exposure to their professions. These guests will spotlight bi-weekly on Feature Fridays. Every Monday morning you can connect with me during your drive. I’ll chat with you more in-depth about fashion marketing, DECA, entrepreneurship, and trending topics. If you’re still listening to me right now, that means you have an interest in marketing education and/or fashion marketing. With that in mind, you are exactly who this show is for. I’m truly grateful to have you here. So, grab your favorite beverage, open up your Notes app on your device, and be prepared for all of the goodness that’s headed your way.
