For more podcasts or to sign up for one of our popular courses, go to: LockieConsultants.com #CFP #CertifiedFinancialPlanner #CISI #OnlineCourses Louis's bio: Back in the 80s, when the industry was nascent relative to what it is now, Louis’ grandmother was a financial adviser, having emigrated from Denmark after World War 2. Following the footsteps of his Dad, who joined the industry in the mid-90s, Louis is in fact the 3rd generation of his family to be a financial adviser (aka planner). Their family practice is called Ewart & Bridgeman Advisers, with their office in London and clients located around the country. If you were to ask what he likes most about his role, he would say it’s the interplay between socialising with clients, being analytical when not with clients, and the satisfaction of finding solutions to complex personal finance problems. Outside of work Louis recently got into scuba diving, so the occasional long-distance trip with a dive school is something that he looks forward to – this also requires planning for, unsurprisingly. Closer to home, he enjoys meandering through Southwest London, ticking off the multitude of pubs and restaurants in the area. Luckily several close friends now live in London, so he’s in good company.
