Members of the public and those affected by the crimes committed can ask for the case to be reviewed by the Court of Appeal if the sentence doesn't match the public's expectation for the crime. 18-year-old Marc William's from Uckfield was a rising YouTube star, who liked to document his love of climbing high buildings, free running and parkour. He was loved by his friends and family and his videos also bought like minded people into his life, including another local man, Lewis Ashdown.They seemed to have a lot in common and soon Lewis started appearing in Marc's videos, joining him on his adventurers. Julia James was a local PCSO, working with members of her community to help victims of crime, domestic violence and to make it safer. But on the 27th of April 2021, Julia took her dog for a walk in a local beauty spot, but she never came home. Julia's injured body was found in woodland by local walkers and she was pronounced dead at the scene. What followed was an extensive manhunt and a family and community left grieving the loss on an incredible woman.
