Indianapolis native Janet Flanner (1892-1978) was a journalist and author who wrote more than 50 years for The New Yorker magazine. The funeral service organization Flanner Buchanan, and the community center Flanner House were formed by members of her family. Our guest, Scott Keller, is her relative, producer of a play about her ("They Call Me Genet") and a scholar who spent personal time with her.
