The B.C. government continues to keep the public in the dark as to the number of homes destroyed by wildfires. Off-road vehicles, such as ATVs, are now banned in parts of the province to help prevent new fires. The move comes as the RCMP start an investigation into the cause of the massive Bald Range wildfire near Summerland. More than 21,000 people have been ordered to evacuate their homes in various parts of the B.C. Interior.
