Hello my wonderful friends! 🎙🏔Welcome to this latest episode that was formed extremely organically between Hunter + I. We didn’t have a big conversation about it — we were out taking photos + having a work meeting + she mentioned how she has always wanted to be on a podcast. I thought well, WAIT a minute! We have one, + she’s part of the team here at Tulā, so we should record one so everyone can learn more about her + so she can achieve that dream of hers!Hunter is many things, but for lack of a better term she’s my support here, or ‘assistant’ she helps me with all things behind the scenes + works remotely on our digital spaces so we can continue to grow. I think it’s great that her and I were able to sit down + chat. She stopped into Vancouver for a few weeks after returning from Australia, + in that time we got some in person work done together, photos, videos, + a snowy trip to Bowen to help me do some work at Nectar Yoga. She’s since returned to her travels in Australia + I can’t wait to see her next winter when I fly in later this year.TW: This episode has mentions of suicideAbout Hunter:"How does one describe themselves, when they are but a collection of countless past experiences, and endless desires? Ultimately, I am an individual seeking direction in life, with a never-ending bucket list, and not enough time to check them all off in this one lifetime.I am a photographer, a writer, an environmentalist, a mental health advocate, a seeker of type-2 fun, and a forever student/lover of life."Links:https://www.goldenhourcommunity.com/Instagram @hunterbergenHunter's interview on the roamers trailMy piece on substack: inviting in fluidity🏔 Gifts from our sponsors:Please use this link: artifactuprising.sjv.io/zx2vrM to do your shopping with Artifact Uprising! Hello my friends!! 🎙❤️**few things - I realize now that this episode and maybe the previous ones are only coming through the right channel. I’ve hired someone to help me mend this and make the episodes better. So sorry if listening quality has been bad. Thank you for your kindness + support regardless.Welcome to this episode where I pull one of the audio transcriptions from my substack piece “Inviting in fluidity”Audio transcription of my piece starts at 41:20https://thewarmthofthesun.substack.com/p/inviting-in-fluidityIn this solo sesh I chat about the rigidity I witness in people, and how I can only hope that slowly we begin to branch out, open up, and want to experience the world as beings of this planet. There’s so much to see, to do, to try, to smell, to taste, to hear. I invite you to find openness, and fluidity. Connect with us elsewhere, if you’d like to view our photos, videos, or want to chat. Hello friends!! 🎙🕯Happy whatever you celebrate!!! + happiness to you if you don’t have any celebrations this time of year. I share in this episode a bit of my personal experience with the holidays, some ways I know a few of us relate to certain feelings around this time of year, + I take the time to help you to feel empowered to make choices for yourself.I hope this time shared supports you to reduce any feelings of guilt, shame, grief. + I want you to remember that things only hold the weight that you put on them. Many of us do not connect with this holiday specifically, as we may feel rooted in other practices, religions, + beliefs + I think there needs to be space held for that.I want to remind us of the pressures that are put on us or ones we put on ourselves to show up, buy things, be around people that are harmful to us. + I want to make sure we’re all staying open, kindhearted, + remember those in our communities who are less fortunate, this time of year + every other day. Some resources for you:Kandra Alaya - Holy Days, practicing energetic hygiene + taking care of your well-being.https://www.kandraalaya.com/I remind you to show up where you feel you want to + to listen to the voice that’s telling you that it’s not working. I remind you of others projections, staying strong in knowing who you are, + if you need to head to the bathroom for a noticed breath, do it. I’m in the beginning stages of my new (but has always been in the background) project Blessing Beings, in which donations from this go straight to those in need by providing heat, food, + other needs a being needs. https://www.whitneytfankedjian.com/blessingbeingsPlease consider donating to help us keep people warm + fed. Hello podcast peeps! 🎙🍓Here we are - another episode! I want to share my gratitude + respect I have for Kendra. I appreciate watching her journey + connecting with her at this stage of her journey. We met at earth daughters festival this summer + shared a few chats together. I attended both of her offerings at the festival + received so much from them, + witnessed others do the same. I appreciate her realness, + truth telling. I appreciate her authenticity + dedication to being herself. You don't ever sense with Kendra that she's trying to be anyone else but who she is. + I think that's beautiful + needed more + more everyday.when we recorded this Kendra was almost 8 months pregnant - since then she’s given birth to a baby girl named Koji. Sending love, prayer, + big congratulations to her, Jeremy, + Koji. Trigger warning:In this episode we talk about eating disorders, drug use, suicidal ideation, + sexual abuse. From Kendra:‘I am in service to permission, + the sacred responsibility to be satiated + deeply receive. Permission to honour the body, its wisdom + innate guidance. Approving of the power we all wield as our intuitive compass, + opening to access the truth of our sovereign expression as a fully satiated + nourished being.Bridging the gap between body + spirit, I hold space guiding people to begin listening + trusting their own wisdom from within. I lead intuitive sessions to support opening the body + clearing through what no longer serves.More sacred excavation than “coaching session”, these experiences are a space where we get to dance with the thaw of your system as we allow it to show us what is needed. It is all within you, I simply hold, witness, + remind what you are capable of.I hold intimate 1-1 containers, The Honouring, to allow the spaciousness for the body to return to deep trust, reorienting the relationship to self + the body from disconnect to deep loving connection.Alongside this work, I nourish women in many capacities whether it be a private chef for intimate settings, for lively retreats, or workshops where we sit with the ceremony of food embracing the tangible mirror and element that is our God-given right to receive on a cellular, soulful, energetic, + spiritual level.I am currently being initiated into motherhood with our healthy baby girl, Koji. Inviting a deepening in my work I couldn't have prepared for.’Application for 1-1 containers: https://www.adachikendra.com/wieldConnect + inquire about workshops, chef work, or anything else: https://www.adachikendra.com/contactInstagram: @adachikendra 🍓 About our sponsor Eversio Wellness:There is so much talk about fungi, + for good reason. Hi friends!! 🎙✨Join me here for a solo sesh on the pod where I chat about the hustle of everyday life + the expectations we have for ourselves + others to instantly reply. We're looking to slow down + recognize how foreign a lot of this is to us. To have 30 conversations a day, to be on the way to work ordering fast food from our phones, to be inside all day, to be moving so fast we can't keep up - so we're anxious, we're depressed, we're not content in what we do because we don't want to do it. Because it's new to the human experience to be doing all of this. Hi friends!! 🎙🌀Welcome to this moment in time shared between Kandra + I. I’m grateful to have been able to spend this time reconnecting with her + learning all about the person she’s grown into. Hello friends! 🎙So good to have you here for my first solo sesh on the pod. This is something I've wanted to do for quite some time. I have a list of ponderings, teachings, wonderings, wisdom tidbits, + general life goodness to share + I feel blissful + intuitively encouraged to step into these sessions. Conversation encouraged for these sessions especially, if you'd like to connect with me + share your experiences as you listen I'm here anytime. About this Episode:This episode references addiction, loss, + death. I start to talk about the waves of grief I experience since losing my brother Trevor Ryan Tfankedjian in August 2023. This is something that's new to me - a new learning, teaching, discovery. It's been awful + beautiful. The shadow is dark. The processing is unpleasant. But the brighter the light the darker the shadow. We honour my brother here in all ways - something I didn't do when he was living but I know if he got out from under his addictions + was his true self he was a kind, helpful, empathetic person. Everything I do in my business, + all travels I go on are now for him. I do everything in his name going forward.About Whitney:Whitney is a passionate + highly motivated spiritual entrepreneur who leads with her heart + intuition.she grew up in business, watching her grandfather, father, uncles, aunts, + family friends creating their own realities by working for themselves.Entrepreneurship + self-employed mentality has always been at the forefront + it's important for her to offer a service with intention + love.In that, she's always wanted to create her own own expressions, art, + do her own thing. She lives a life that's rooted in bringing something special to the world + getting out of the 'norm'.Whitney started her self employed journey in the Yoga space + that has all since developed into this special space, Tulā - Community. Tulā is anti-capitalistic in nature + we believe that there's more than enough 'room' for everyoneYour work is important + we're here to help highlight that for you.Tulā - Community is a direct translation of who Whitney is.Her main goal in life is to make people laugh. Her second is to help.@tulacommunitytulacommunity.comFor Trevor,Whitney

Hello friends! 🎙📿More chats coming your way! Join Andrea + I in conversation We sat in the dome on the Nectar grounds to share this chat, full of learning, stories, + shares of how practice weaves itself into our lives. Andrea shares stories from her past + even little tidbits about Nectar so that your next visit you’ll have the inside scoop on why something is the way it is on the grounds!About Andrea:Andrea Clark (she/her) is a functional somatic movement teacher and the co-creatrix of Nectar Retreat Centre + Mist Thermal Healing. She discovered early in her life that nature + solitude are her most potent healers. With ancestry from the Scotland, Ireland, + Scandinavia, Andrea was born + raised in close to the Rocky Mountains in Canada.Andrea’s journey, weaving through the realms of fine arts, design, movement exploration, + with an inherent gift for architecture, led her from the corporate world into the heart of yoga + spiritual exploration. Immersing herself in the teachings of revered artists + mentors, Andrea's extensive travels—from India to St Lucia to Hawaii + beyond—shaped her holistic approach to well-being. Her studies encompassed traditionally rooted yoga, meditation, ayurveda, + functional movement, culminating in her role as a global retreat leader.About Nectar:Our Mission is to Seed Consciousness. Our journey took an unexpected turn while traveling through India, Satjeet’s ancestral land, leading us in the opposite direction of our original destination. What initially seemed like a ‘wrong direction’ turned out to be a pivotal 18-hour detour, guiding us precisely to where we are now—exactly on the right path.We immersed ourselves in an ashram, exploring the Raja Yoga system, and gained a deep appreciation for the natural world and connected to our inner rhythms. Witnessing the Indian countryside's sense of community and simplicity fuelled our desire for a similar experience in Canada—an immersive, nature-centric healing space that nurtures both body and spirit. Our vision was to create a space rooted in tradition yet embracing modern comforts, welcoming visitors from across the globe. Returning to Canada's west coast in 2014, we felt the pull of Bowen Island, a small island off the coast of Vancouver. It was there where Nectar was born. Here, we not only established a home for ourselves but also crafted a sacred retreat center for others to experience tranquility.@nectaryoganectaryoga.caYour photos, printed with Artifact Uprising!Save money and support Tula by shopping through this link* + using code TULA15 at checkout for savings on your special moments.
