Episode 28: Interview with Patrick Smith, Performance and Wellbeing Coach
Patrick's story is one that I'm sure a lot of people can resonate with, I know I did. Growing up in what he describes as a brilliant childhood, to hard working down to earth parents, he learnt early on about the value of hard work, a quality that has stuck with him throughout his entire corporate career. Going through the journey of life is never straight forward and easy however, and Patrick has had his fair share of ups and downs! From been up high to been hopeless, penniless and homeless, his story is one of resilience, persistence and overcoming the challenges that life put in his path. Now, a little later on in life as he and his wife are eagerly expecting their first son, he is able to look back on the lessons learned and put them to use in helping others to overcome similar struggles. A bit more about what Patrick does: Most high-performing men have built careers, businesses, and lives that look successful from the outside. But behind the ambition and achievement, there's often a quiet tension — a sense that something deeper is being left unlived. I work with driven men who are ready to close that gap. As a men's coach and mentor, I help you move beyond the metrics of external success and into a life defined by intentionality, clarity, and genuine fulfilment. Through honest conversation, strategic thinking, and accountable action, we work together to align your ambition with what actually matters to you — your values, your purpose, your legacy. This isn't about slowing down. It's about making sure the direction you're moving in is one you've chosen with intention. If you're ready to lead — in your career, your relationships, and your life — with discipline and purpose, I'd welcome the conversation. What I Don’t Do: Use generic playbooks or trendy buzzwords. Offer empty motivation without action. Coach people who aren’t ready to show up and work. You can find and reach out to Patrick here: LinkedIn Website

Episode 25: Interview with Aalpa Pnddya, Learning & Development Specialist, Performance & Behavioural Change Coach
This month, I had the absolute pleasure to welcome a good friend of mine, Aalpa Pnddya to the show, to discuss all things mindset, goals etc and it was an amazing conversation! Thanks a million Aalpa for been such a great guest on the show! Aalpa's Bio: I’m a Learning & Development Specialist and Corporate Trainer who helps teams communicate, lead, and perform with clarity and confidence. I believe communication shapes culture — and when people speak, listen, and lead better, organisations transform. My work spans behaviour-based learning programmes in communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, diversity and inclusion, and workplace mindset. I design and deliver training that’s discussion-led, practical, and rooted in real behavioural change — not theory that gets forgotten the next day. As a mindset and confidence coach, I’ve helped professionals overcome fear, speak with presence, influence stakeholders, and connect authentically with clients and teams. My approach blends adult learning principles with practical communication tools people can use immediately. I trained under Bob Proctor and became a Certified Coach with the Proctor Gallagher Institute, supporting individuals and teams to think clearly, perform under pressure, and build stronger habits. In 2022, I received the Brainz 500 Global Award for entrepreneurial contribution and personal development. Before coaching and facilitation, I spent 14 years at British Telecom handling high-pressure customer conversations — service failures, vulnerable cases, escalations, and financial hardship. Those years taught me the real meaning of empathy, clarity, and composure. My early radio career with the BBC helped me develop a natural, human style of communication — something I bring into every workshop and coaching session. Today, I’m focused on transitioning into a full-time L&D or Corporate Training role — environments where communication, behaviour, leadership and inclusion all come together. I’m based in the UK and open to opportunities across the UK, India, or Dubai. Core Competencies: Learning & Development | Corporate Training | Leadership Development | Behaviour-Based Learning | Diversity & Inclusion | Communication Coaching | Adult Learning | Emotional Intelligence | Workshop Delivery | Sales Enablement | Mindset & Confidence Coaching | Performance Improvement Connect with Aapla here: LinkedIn
