Cally Stewart - Passion to Pro, Leamington Memories & Life at Shrewsbury

In the treatment room tonight, we hear from someone who has gone from national league north with Leamington to League One with Shrewsbury Town. We sit down with Cally Stewart who recently signed for league one Shrewsbury Town but we start with his non league career and how he made it to league one. Talking about his early days at step 7 & 6 before moving up to Coventry Sphinx’s where he racked up 80 goals over 2 seasons and also winning promotion. We then talk about his home town club Leamington where Cally really made a name for himself. Working with Paul Holleran and experienced team mates helped Cally banging in the goals. Talking about promotion with Leamington and how much it means to him is a great story in itself. Connor Gudger - Coventry City heartbreak, Leamington Love & Atherstone Town dreamland

In the treatment room tonight, Connor Gudger joins us to talk about his football journey which started out at Coventry City. Coming through the academy ranks and into the reserves & 1st team hoping to sign a pro contract to be left disappointed and heartbroken. Moving into Non-League Connor tells us about times at Hinckley Utd, Tamworth, Barwell & more before finding a home at Leamington under Paul Holleran. After 6 seasons at Leamington and an ACL injury Connor found himself joining his local boyhood club Atherstone Town where he helped guide them to promotion to step 5.
