But behind all the jargon like Behind the Meter (BTM) energy and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) is a growing movement by some big energy intensive industries to break free of the constraints of the electricity grid (capacity, connection delays, transmission and policy costs) and move towards energy independence.
