Shaping NYC Since 1954 | Frank Narciso - Contractors Sheet Metal
Contractors Sheet Metal has been building New York City since 1954, growing from a mom-and-pop shop into a powerhouse in the city’s construction industry. Frank Narciso became a partner in the 1990s, and when Tommy D’Angelo joined him in 2000, the two continued building the company through decades of growth, change, success, and challenges. Frank also serves as President of NYC SMACNA, the Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’ National Association of New York City. In this episode, Frank shares his perspective on an industry he’s spent decades in, from where construction was when he started to where it is today. We talk about the realities of building in New York, lessons learned along the way, his firsthand experience surrounding September 11th, and the challenges and opportunities facing contractors today. And, of course, we talk cigars—how Frank got into them and why they became such a passion. NYC SMACNA: https://nycsmacna.org/about/
