2023 began with lofty dreams for Derron Black. Community projects were brewing, relationships mending, and personal growth on the horizon. But darkness lurked: a mental breakdown landed him in the hospital and jail. This wasn't the end, though. It was a twist in a remarkable year of self-discovery and purpose redefined.
For years, Derron chased politics to understand economics and its impact on humanity. He saw disparities, questioned solutions, and sought progress for his Kansas City community. He co-founded Alpha Male Nation, tackling east side economic woes. Though fraught with challenges, it fostered purpose and brotherhood.
Political activism led to a controversial outburst, fracturing relationships and exposing stagnation. Derron grappled with identity and purpose, finally realizing his calling wasn't in politics but in teaching and empowering others.
May 21st, 2023, brought a turning point. A familiar breakdown led, surprisingly, to clarity and reinvention. Derron embraced honesty and self-awareness, seeking therapy and reshaping his life.
Now, Derron finds joy in sharing knowledge and igniting potential. He's an educator, not a politician, fueled by his impact on others. His passion for economics guides his entrepreneurial spirit, resonating with his generation.
Derron's story is about resilience, self-discovery, and pivoting toward purpose. Join him on this podcast as he delves into his incredible journey, sharing insights on life, community, and finding personal fulfillment.
It's a story for anyone who's ever stumbled, questioned their path, and sought to redefine their impact on the world.
Tune in to The Black Report and discover the incredible possibilities beyond breakdowns.

Welcome to The Black Report, your go-to podcast for in-depth analysis and discussion. This episode explores one of the most pivotal topics in American politics: the debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump and the longstanding trend of Black Americans voting Democrat. The 2020 presidential election was one for the history books, marked by unprecedented challenges and a deeply divided nation. As Joe Biden and Donald Trump faced off, the stakes for the Black community were higher than ever. From systemic racism to economic disparities, healthcare access, and criminal justice reform, the issues at the forefront were deeply personal for millions of Black Americans. In this episode, we explore the key moments from the Biden-Trump debates, dissecting the candidates' stances on crucial Black community issues. We'll revisit their promises, policies, and rhetoric, providing a comprehensive breakdown of how each candidate sought to address (or, in some cases, ignore) the needs and concerns of Black voters. We'll also address the critiques and challenges within the Black community regarding this political alignment. Is the Democratic Party truly delivering on its promises to Black Americans? Are there alternative voices and options that deserve more attention? The Biden-Trump debates highlighted stark differences in policy and vision, but they also underscored a deeper, more systemic issue: the ongoing struggle for racial equality and justice in America. As we analyze the debate performances, we'll consider how each candidate's approach resonates with the lived experiences of Black Americans, from addressing police violence and reforming the justice system to tackling economic inequality and healthcare disparities.
