Let’s start our journey through time by traveling all the way back to 3761 BC, which marks the traditional epoch reference date and start of the modern Hebrew calendar. In 1477, Uppsala University was inaugurated in Sweden, having received its corporate rights from Pope Sixtus IV earlier that year. Moving ahead to 1826, the Granite Railway began operations in Massachusetts, cementing its place in history as the first chartered railway in the United States.
