Whether it's this or something else like it, the key here is you got to be willing to lean in a little bit. You got to be willing to try, got to be willing to experiment. But the beautiful thing here is it's not meant to be perfect. If it works, great. If it doesn't, great. ep. 259 0 to 7 Figures in 1 Week as a 20-Something Year-Old Entrepreneur w/ Cole VanDee

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! In today’s episode, Jillian sits down with Cole VanDee, a top-tier email marketing strategist, copywriter, and consultant who’s helped scale multiple 8- and 9-figure businesses. From selling cars at 19 to working with internet giants like Tai Lopez, Cole shares his incredible journey, hard-earned insights, and no-fluff truth bombs about what it really takes to succeed in the world of sales, marketing, and online business. This episode is raw, real, and filled with powerful takeaways for entrepreneurs at every stage of growth. Topics Covered: How Cole went from car sales to building high-performing marketing funnels for 9-figure clients The power of taking bold action—even when you feel underqualified Why getting rid of the wrong people in your life might be the best business decision you ever make How he landed Tai Lopez as a client (and the unglamorous truth behind getting big opportunities) The ugly truth about what it actually takes to build credibility and get noticed Breaking down revenue levels: why making more doesn’t always mean taking home more From $100K to $100M: the scaling differences nobody talks about Why focus—not reinvention—is the secret to growth What it means to be a true visionary and get the right people in the right seats Cole’s advice for content creation, avoiding the scroll trap, and staying in your zone of genius “You're either going to be choosing the people that are in your life and that's going to hold you back, or you're going to choose to get rid of those people and deal with the other side of that equation—which is you're going to get closer to where you want to be, but you're not going to have those people anymore. And to me, it doesn't matter if that's your brother, your cousin, or your best friend of 30 years. If they're on a path that you don't want to be on, and they keep taking your time, energy, effort, focus, a piece of your brain every single day—if they're sucking you into drama, if they're holding you down—at some point, you have to learn that lesson where it's like, "Okay, I'm gonna let you go." And it's not because I'm better than you.” – Cole   CONNECT WITH COLE: Instagram: @colevandee   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

ep. 257 What You Can Learn From This 8-Figure Powerhouse w/ Sarah Beth Herman

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today’s episode is a no-filter, high-voltage conversation with Sarah Beth Herman, a five-time CEO and founder of multiple global companies with over 600 employees. Sarah brings the real talk on what it actually takes to build an 8-figure empire—and why comparison, scarcity, and lack of discipline are killing your momentum. From money mindset to client disputes, mentorship to scalability, this episode is packed with powerful truth bombs for the entrepreneur who’s ready to grow, lead, and own her space—unapologetically. Topics Covered: The discipline it takes to scale—and why motivation isn’t enough Why watching your competitors can sabotage your creativity and confidence The behind-the-scenes story of how Sarah hit $80K/month just six weeks after getting fired How to hire and lead when you’re starting from zero Chargebacks, client disputes, and why you need legal and financial protection now Why entrepreneurs must stop offering “percentage-based” coaching agreements The difference between wealthy frequency and broke energy—and how to change your environment to rise How to expand your offer suite and price like a CEO Why surrounding yourself with bigger thinkers can unlock your next level The energetic truth behind attracting high-ticket clients who don’t flake or ghost “I am inspired by you, right? So then they're like, I'm going to sign up for you to mentor me. They get going. They get that energy, right? But then they lack the one key ingredient—discipline. So what happens is they never grow. They get inspired. They get excited. They're like, I can do this. Then they lack the discipline to make it happen every month.” – Sarah   CONNECT WITH SARAH Instagram: @sarahbethherman LinkedIn: Sarah Beth Herman, MBA, BAML, BBA, AA Website: sarahbethherman.com   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

ep. 256 From Nurse Practitioner to Full-Time Entrepreneur w/ Lindsey

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today’s episode is a real, raw conversation with Lindsay, a nurse practitioner turned women’s gut health consultant and business coach. Jillian and Lindsay dive deep into balancing motherhood, marriage, entrepreneurship, and building a business without all the “fancy” systems. If you’ve ever felt like you’re juggling all the things and wondering if you’re doing enough, this conversation will leave you feeling seen, encouraged, and motivated to keep going—even when it’s messy. Topics Covered: How Lindsay built a multiple six-figure business without a perfect backend or fancy systems The reality of balancing motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship—and why something always has to give How Lindsay and her husband transitioned into both being entrepreneurs and the impact on their marriage Why communication and faith are the foundation of their family and business success The importance of setting boundaries with work to stay present for your family The role real relationships (not just sales tactics) have played in Lindsay’s business growth Why consistency, not perfection, is the key to growing a sustainable business How Lindsay stumbled into business coaching after helping fellow health coaches organically The value of accepting criticism and constantly working on building confidence Real talk on why giving yourself a “Plan B” is the fastest way to guarantee you’ll quit   “So I find so many coaches in the space right now, they don't have confidence, which is one of the biggest things I see behind why they're not pushing their business forward. And so if we don't have confidence behind us starting out, you're going to feel like your feelings get hurt and you're not going to be able to make it.” – Lindsey   CONNECT WITH LINDSEY Instagram: @lindseymariewellness   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

ep. 255 Why Businesses Fail w/ Jeff Fenster

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today’s episode is going to blow your mind as we take you behind the scenes of Infinity Live, featuring a powerful conversation with Jeff Fenster—serial entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of EverBowl, one of the fastest-growing franchises in America. In this candid and energizing session, Jeff breaks down how businesses truly scale, the underrated power of options, and the real reason most companies fail. This is not your average fluffy business chat—this is an unfiltered masterclass in growth, innovation, and entrepreneurial grit. Topics Covered: Why options are the single most important thing in business survival The myth of experience: why waiting until you're “ready” is overrated How Jeff built EverBowl without any restaurant background—and made it thrive The two repeatable problems in business you must solve to scale How vertical integration (construction and supply chain) saved his company What COVID taught Jeff about staying agile and thinking in opportunities Why “relationship capital” is real currency for entrepreneurs The story behind landing EverBowl on QVC and getting 500 franchise leads How to build meaningful relationships by making deposits, not withdrawals Real talk on leadership, pivoting, and building a brand rooted in purpose   Companies fail and people go out of business for one reason: they run out of options. That's it. The big other mistake a lot of entrepreneurs make is thinking that they have to be bigger before they focus on scale. That is a dangerous game. Every air pilot in the world is taught that altitude is your friend. Why? Because if you have a problem in an airplane, the higher you are, the more time you have to figure it out before you hit the ground. So options come from scale. Scale comes from mitigation of problems. And so, if you run out of money, you run out of options. If I don't have any money, I can't pay my bills. If I run out of product, I can't sell product. I run out of options because I don't have product to sell, so I have to do something else. I was just trying to figure out how to stay alive and stay in business today. And I was able to do that because I had options—because we vertically integrated and solved repeatable problems before I even knew I was going to need them. And it's not that we were so brilliant. We weren't. We were just doing the things that gave us options. What tool do we have for the current issue in front of us? – Fenster   CONNECT WITH JEFF: INSTAGRAM: @fensterjeff LinkedIn: Jeff Fenster   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

ep. 254 Bounce Back Rate w/ Chris Harder

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today’s episode is an inspiring behind-the-scenes conversation with Chris Harder, renowned entrepreneur and business mentor, recorded live at the Infinity event. Chris and Jillian dig deep into what it really takes to thrive as a business owner in today’s economy. They get brutally honest about overcoming setbacks, adapting to shifting market conditions, and the realities of risk, resilience, and making smart business pivots. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to scale to seven or eight figures, this episode is packed with practical insights and real talk you won’t hear anywhere else. Topics Covered: Why sales cycles are longer and buyers are more cautious right now (and what to do about it) How to find true product-market fit and market “to the times” Risk tolerance, comeback rates, and why innovation is your best friend Real talk: Facing business failures, sudden setbacks, and how to bounce back The importance of your community and mentors in helping you recover from challenges Honest breakdown of the current economic landscape—what it means for your sales, your offers, and your customers The power of perspective: why things might not be as “doom and gloom” as they seem Why adapting your message (and sometimes your products) is key to surviving tough seasons Building long-term mentorship relationships and the real value of staying in the room Why certainty and trusted partnerships can be more valuable than chasing a “better deal” “Overnight, we went from being weeks away from flipping the on switch on, two years of work, three million dollars in, to nothing. Absolutely nothing. There's nothing we could do with this platform in that moment. That was the worst, the absolute worst of my professional career, for sure. And I've had some pretty low lows. It began a trickle-down effect of all sorts of challenging things happening. Had a stroke, I'm blind in this eye, 50% blind in this eye, all sorts of things. My business partner, Matt, was a tremendous resource for saying, "Oh well, let's find our pivot and let's go." My friends who have already been in this situation, who have already built massive eight, nine, even ten-figure companies, shared their stories with me. "Hey, that same thing happened to me, only it was food products. Hey, that same thing happened to me, only it was real estate." They were able to give me guidance and they were able to kick me back in the game. My wife was able to kick me back in the game. My brother was able to support and kick me back in the game. So the people that you have around you are what are going to absolutely matter the most when that bad thing happens and cause that comeback rate, if you will, to be that much quicker.” – Chris   CONNECT WITH CHRIS Instagram: @chriswharder Facebook: Chris Harder Website: chrisharder.me   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

Today’s episode is a powerhouse conversation with Ashley Brasseaux, a fractional CMO and launch strategist who helps seven-figure businesses build high-performing marketing strategies that actually convert. In this episode, Ashley and Jillian peel back the layers of what truly makes marketing work in today’s shifting landscape—from the evolving role of AI to the breakdown of trust in the online space. This honest and refreshing talk is for every entrepreneur who’s ready to stop spinning their wheels and start aligning strategy with execution.
