A Biblical Legacy of Courage: Aner Shapira's Parents Remember the Hero Who Stood at the Shelter Door on October 7

Three years ago, on October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked the Nova festival in southern Israel. Inside a crowded bomb shelter, a 22-year-old off-duty soldier named Aner Shapira promised to throw back any grenade that came through the door. He did it seven times. The eighth took his life.
