The Work is Working

In this episode, we talk about the myth of the "final fix" in personal development. If you are deeply involved in personal development, you may feel frustrated at times that you have not yet reached a certain level of healing or "fixing". It's time we look at personal development like we do our physical health -- just as our physical health requires ongoing effort and may look different at different times in our lives, so too does our mental health require ongoing effort and may require different approaches at different times. Everything that we do in life is motivated by a feeling. Absolutely everything. So, there's really not anything more important for us to start to understand. How our feelings are generated, how to identify what we're feeling, how to allow the feelings to pass through our bodies and how to allow the positive ones and the negative ones to exist together.
