Can you believe it? Yesterday, July 12th, marked exactly 5 years of consistency for the Career Prosperity Prayer Call! Half a decade of logging in every single Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. EST to cover our careers, our businesses, and our lives in prayer. Through every season of resistance and every single "I don't feel like it" moment, God has been faithful to carry us through.In honor of this milestone, this week we are diving deep into what it truly means to be consistent in communion with God. To commune means to get very close to someone by exchanging feelings or thoughts. If you want strategy, favor, or clarity in your career path, your first step must always be consistent communion with your Heavenly Father.Speaking of consistency and timing, I'm sharing an incredible testimony from this past weekend! While finally cleaning out some old mail, I discovered an unexpected settlement check that had been sitting since January. When I looked at the expiration print, it had a strict 180-day deadline to be deposited by July 15th—just two days from today! God revealed this blessing to us suddenly and just in the nick of time, simply because I took heed to the inner instruction to stop what I was doing and open the bag.This week we are standing on: 1 Corinthians 15:58: Be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is never in vain. Every ounce of effort you are putting into your job search, your skills, and your business matters. Amos 9:13-15 (The Message): "Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim... blessings like wine pouring off the mountains!" The Metaphor of the Muscle: Did you know that for a muscle to grow, it first has to tear and rip? The actual building doesn't happen while you are lifting the heavy weight—it happens during the recovery and rest period. What feels like it's breaking you down right now in your career or personal life is actually a graceful breaking meant to build you up. God will break your will just to bring you perfectly into His divine will.📖 2. "Because He Said So!" When a child is asked how they know a danger is real, their simple answer is often: "Because my brother/parent said so." Why do we have such a hard time carrying that same absolute certainty with the promises of God? When doubts creep in about your job search, your finances, or your calling, your answer needs to be just as absolute. How do you know you have peace? How do you know you're more than a conqueror? Because He said so.Key Scriptures Explored (Amplified Version): 2 Corinthians 12:9: "My grace is sufficient for you... for my power is made perfect in weakness." Lean entirely into Him when your personal resources feel low. John 16:33: "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." When King Saul tried to count David out and tell him he wasn't qualified to fight the Philistine, David didn't just back down. He ran down his entire professional resume! He reminded Saul of the lion and the bear he had already defeated.Here is what we are standing on this week: Your Labor is Not in Vain: Just like David, your past preparation matters. Speak boldly about what God has brought you through. God Puts His Super on Your Natural: David didn't defeat Goliath with heavy armor that didn't belong to him. He used what he knew, and God gave him supernatural strength to win the battle. You are Victorious by Default: We aren't fighting for victory; we are fighting from victory because Jesus has already won the war. God has given you divine ideas and professional visions, and He is the only one who can make them possible!
