MWH 556 : The Free Pilates Class That Went Very Wrong (A Real-Time Lesson in Customer Experience)

Nobody told us the free Pilates class was being filmed. The announcement came once we were already on our mats, framed as a reminder of something we had never actually been told, and what happened next taught me more about customer experience than most business books ever have. In this episode I share the full story, including the moment the studio owner walked in and the micro expression that said everything. Then I unpack the Triangle of Death, a framework I learned from my friend George Bryant that names the three deadly customer experience mistakes: the ego journey, the fire hose, and the zone of doubt. You will also learn why the absence of complaints is not the presence of consent, why most of your customers will sit silently through discomfort rather than risk being labelled difficult, and the three small recovery moves from Dale Carnegie that turn a mistake into a raving fan: admit it quickly, see their point of view, validate their feelings. MWH 555 : Your Income Depends On Your Business Model

Two weeks after launching my first online membership, I was pegging washing onto the clothes horse in our courtyard and I ugly cried. Not a little cry, the full body, can't catch your breath kind of cry. It had nothing to do with the laundry. That was the moment my nervous system caught up with what had just happened. I had gone from $0 to $15,000 a month in recurring income, from a single four day launch. In this episode I take you back to that moment and the business model shift behind it. Before the membership, I was running a feast and famine business built on one on one coaching, Instagram audits and a launch based course. It made good money, but it was stressful and unpredictable. I share why I launched that first membership terrified, and before it was even built, and the principle I have taught ever since: unpredictable income is not a sales or skill problem, it is a business model problem. MWH553 : Why So Many Coaches Are Building Memberships Right Now

Almost every week a woman in my community tells me she is thinking about building an online membership, usually because she is tired, fully booked, and wondering if there is a way to build a business that does not need all of her. In this episode I answer with my own week: Fridays off since before I made any money, a week off every month, and December off entirely. All of it made possible by running a membership. MWH 552 - How Ali Broinowski Built, Launched And Sold Her First Online Course At 57

You do not need a big audience, a slick launch, or perfect tech to package your expertise into an online offer. You need to commit in front of people who will hold you to it, and then personally invite the right-fit women who are already waiting for what you know. In this episode I talk with Ali Broinowski, founder of Cloth & Feather in regional New South Wales and creator of The Curated Home Method. Ali joined the Freedom Filled® Mastermind at the start of the year with no online course, no launch experience, and a very full life already. She is now mid-delivery of her first cohort of 10 women. Ali walks through the whole arc honestly. The waitlist of about 40. The morning she opened the doors and nobody came. The one woman who joined on day four or five. The decision to stop pushing on social and instead email the waitlist one by one, personally, which filled her five spots within 48 hours and then doubled it to 10. No webinar. No funnel theatrics. MWH 550 : The hidden cost of the friendships you actually want

Hey lovely, this one is a little different. I have been in business for 11 years, and one of the most common things women tell me is that they feel lonely. Building an online business can quietly become an isolating life, especially when whole days pass without a proper conversation with another adult. In this episode I unpack something that has been sitting on my heart. Everybody wants a village, but no one is prepared to be a villager. I share why the R in the F.R.E.S.H FRAMEWORK® (Relationships) is one of the biggest levers for your mental well-being, your nervous system and your business. I talk about the real cost of the friendships and community you actually want, and why being a villager sometimes means being inconvenienced, tired, or generous with your time when you would rather not. I also share two stories I did not plan to tell. A family friend who came to our house every Friday to pray with us while my dad was dying of cancer. And a man from our church who saw my mum and me arguing in a car park and quietly offered to teach me to drive, then went on to teach my husband Karl too. These are the villagers I never forgot.
