Foundations #7: Purpose Before Portfolio

Before you invest a dollar, there's one question that matters more than the return, the structure, or the opportunity itself: What do you want this money to do for you? Not what did someone else earn. Not how much can this grow. What is this money meant to create in your life? In this episode, Dr. Felecia Froe explains why investing without purpose can leave you wealthy on paper but misaligned in reality. Money is a tool, and tools only make sense when you know what you are building. When your purpose is clear, the question changes from "Is this a good deal?" to "Does this move me toward the life I want?" That clarity helps quiet urgency, reduce comparison, and create calmer, more intentional decisions. 00:00 – The Question Before Every Investment 01:27 – Why Portfolios Need Purpose 02:05 – Alignment Changes the Experience 02:41 – Risk Tolerance vs Risk Capacity 03:33 – What Women Really Want Money to Create 04:08 – Does This Move Me Toward the Life I Want? 04:56 – Clarity Creates Calmer Decisions 06:01 – Money With Direction Creates Freedom    You've worked hard to build your career. Now let's build wealth that outlives it. You were born to build more than just wealth. You were born to lead, inspire, and rise. At Wealth B-Hers, we're redefining what it means to be financially fearless. Boring Money, The Steady Kind with Fred Moskowitz

What if real estate investing didn't have to mean owning the property, managing tenants, or taking repair calls? That's where this conversation starts. Dr. Felecia Froe sits down with Fred Moskowitz, educator, bestselling author, fund manager, and industry veteran in note investing. Fred explains how he first learned the power of income-producing assets from an unlikely mentor, why relying on a paycheck alone can be risky, and how mortgage notes allow investors to step into the role of the lender. They talk about what note investing actually is, how it differs from owning rental properties, and why it can be a powerful way to build cash flow without being as hands-on as traditional real estate. Dr. Felecia also asks the practical questions many listeners may be wondering: What is a note? What is a lien? Can individual investors buy notes? How do note funds work? And how can retirement accounts or health savings accounts be used to invest in this asset class? This conversation is a reminder that the more you understand, the better questions you can ask before putting your money anywhere. 00:04 – Fred's Money Story and the Entrepreneurial Bug 07:20 – Why a "Stable Job" Wasn't Really Stable 10:10 – The Mentor Who Changed How Fred Saw Wealth 13:20 – Learning From the Right Rooms 15:45 – Why Fred Shifted From Rental Properties to Notes 18:05 – What Is a Mortgage Note? 21:22 – Understanding Liens and Clear Title 26:16 – Can Individual Investors Buy Notes? 30:41 – How Investors Can Participate in Note Investing 34:27 – How Note Funds Pay Investors 36:36 – Using Retirement Accounts and HSAs for Note Investing 40:10 – Fred's Book " The Little Green Book of Note Investing"   Ready to take the next step?   Connect with us today: Website: moneywithmission.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/moneywithmission/   Connect with Fred Moskowitz! Pushing Got Me the Number, Pull Gets Me Peace with Dr. Abigail Aiyepola

Who you're becoming requires you to leave behind the version of yourself you already know. That's where this conversation starts. Dr. Felecia Froe sits down with Dr. Abigail Aiyepola for a different kind of Wealth B-Hers conversation, one centered on alignment, transformation, purpose, and the many ways we give birth to new versions of ourselves. Dr. Abigail shares how moving to Cabo became part of a deeper season of rebirth for her, how life often moves in cycles rather than straight lines, and why the darkness of transition holds both difficulty and development. They talk about cocoon seasons, divine timing, ancestral purpose, the courage to stop living for other people's approval, and what it means to prepare the soil before planting the seed. This conversation is not about birth in the physical sense. It's about birthing a book, a business, a calling, a new identity, or a life that finally feels aligned with who you were created to become. 00:00 - Death, Rebirth, and the Butterfly Season 07:36 – How Dr. Abigail Found Her Way to Cabo 12:24 – Choosing the Beautiful Crazy 17:45 – Knowing What You Are Here For 23:07 – Accepting Your Purpose 32:42 – Self-Acceptance and Transformation 38:00 – A New Version of Yourself 41:40 – What Are You Really Gestating? 46:45 – The Elephant, the Dog, and Divine Timing 48:40 – Finding Purpose in the Darkness     Ready to take the next step?   Connect with us today: Website: moneywithmission.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/moneywithmission/   Connect with Dr. Abigail! Foundations #6: Why Avoiding Money Decisions is More Common than You Think

There is a quiet kind of money stress many of us carry: the bank statement we don't open. The investment decision we delay. The financial advisor appointment we don't make. It looks like procrastination, but often it is something deeper. Money decisions can be emotional, feel risky, unfamiliar, and very high-stakes. In this episode, Dr. Felecia Froe lets you know it's not just you. Avoiding money decisions is more common than you think. Avoidance does not mean you are irresponsible or bad with money. It often means you do not feel clear, informed, or supported enough to move forward. When shame gets layered on top, the cycle gets harder to break. With clarity, community, and small steps, avoidance becomes awareness. Awareness is where change begins. 00:00 – Why Avoiding Money Decisions Is So Common 02:34 – Delay Is Still a Decision 03:19 – Clarity Over Confidence 05:00 – Breaking the Avoidance and Shame Cycle  06:48 – Start Small and Build Familiarity    💼 Be the Boss of Your Own Money. Enough: A Life of Progress and Purpose with Jenna René Soto

What if the thing you thought would prove you were enough still left you searching for more? That's where this conversation starts. Dr. Felecia Froe sits down with Jenna René Soto, veteran, real estate investor, speaker, professional barrel racer, pilot, chef, and author of The Enough Evolution series. Jenna shares how growing up on a ranch shaped her relationship with work, resilience, money, and the willingness to pivot when life no longer goes as planned. Foundations #5: The Myth of Financial Security

There is a version of financial security that many women were taught to chase: high income, a respected title, a steady paycheck, benefits, a retirement account. And while those things matter, they don't always bring the peace we expect. Sometimes, what looks secure from the outside is actually only stable as long as nothing changes. In this episode, Dr. Felecia Froe challenges the myth that financial security is a finish line or a number. Real security is not just about earning more. It's about building a financial structure that can hold you through change, uncertainty, rest, pivots…life.. Stability gives you predictability until it doesn't. Real security gives you resilience and options. That shift changes everything.   00:00 – Why Financial Security Feels Like a Destination 02:16 – The Trap of Performance-Based Stability 03:02 – Stability vs Resilience 04:21 – Why High Income Can Still Feel Fragile 05:04 – From Performer to Architect 06:25 – Financial Security Is an Architecture    💼 Be the Boss of Your Own Money. Know Who You Really Are and Watch How Your Money Decisions Change with Meg Touhey

What if the life you've built doesn't match who you are?   That's where this conversation starts. Dr. Felecia Froe sits down with Megan Tuohey, psychologist and relationship expert, to talk about something deeper than fixing relationships. It's about understanding yourself first. Meg introduces the idea of your "heart print." It's the internal blueprint that shapes your choices, your reactions, and what actually feels right to you. When your life lines up with it, things feel steady. When it doesn't, you feel it.   They talk about why change feels hard even when you know something's off, how past experiences shape your decisions, and why things like money and relationships feel so personal. Foundations #4: Money Isn't the Problem

This episode breaks down why women who are earning, saving, and doing all the "right" things still feel anxious or unsure about their finances. It's not about knowing more. It's about understanding the emotional weight behind your decisions and how money ties to safety, identity, and responsibility. Money is personal, decisions about it feel heavy. You hesitate, avoid, or move too quickly just to relieve the pressure. When you get curious about what's coming up instead of trying to fix it right away, things start to shift. Decisions get clearer, and building wealth feels more steady and intentional. 00:00 - Money Isn't The Problem 01:08 - Money As Meaning 02:08 - Identity And Pressure 03:07 - Patterns Of Resistance 03:54 - Calm Builds Wealth 04:15 - Safe Rooms For Clarity   Ready to take the first step?   Connect with us today: Website: moneywithmission.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/moneywithmission/   The 14-Day Wealth Alignment Journey is Out Now! https://moneywithmission.co/14-days-wealth-alignment    Key Quotes:  "Building resilient wealth requires calm thinking.
