Porikolpona in Bangla means strategy, vision, execution, plan. It was set up in 2020 in response to the pandemic to meeting the urgent needs of daily wage earners in Bangladesh. In this episode Co-Founder Mashrur Hasan Mahee, paints for us the very real picture of how the pandemic response unfolded to protect the most vulnerable of the labor force. Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. This episode also sets the stage for us to look at migrant labor from the lens of climate change in the coming episodes.
