Lt. Gen Smith is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, Army Airborne School, Command and General Staff College, and the National War College. He holds Masters degrees from Central Michigan University and National Defense University. He is also a proud alumnus of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta’s Warren Club and has been inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Alumni Hall of Fame.
