Toys for Tots Camden & Charlton: Bringing Christmas to 1,345 Local Kids Christmas may still be a few months away, but for Toys for Tots , the work starts now. On Episode 119 of Get ’N’ Your Business , Alison Shores sits down with Michelle and Debbie to talk about the incredible effort behind the Camden and Charlton County Toys for Tots campaign and how the community can help make Christmas brighter for local children. Last year, the campaign served 1,345 children —265 more than the previous year—and distributed 4,520 toys, 1,246 books, and 2,882 stocking stuffers . In this episode, you’ll hear about: How the Toys for Tots shopping experience works for local families Why nearly 70–75 volunteers are needed on distribution day alone How families in Camden and Charlton counties can apply Why gifts for teenagers and older children are one of the biggest needs this year How local businesses can host collection boxes, fundraisers and donation events Why books, toys, stocking stuffers and monetary donations all make a difference How you can volunteer and become part of this year’s campaign Family applications open October 1 and close November 1.
