Spectrum Designs on Attracting and Retaining Employees with Developmental Disabilities

A recent survey of autistic adults found that nearly half don't feel it's safe to disclose their autism at work. But at one nonprofit in Port Washington, that concern is nonexistent. Fifteen years ago, Patrick Bardsley , started Spectrum Designs , a custom apparel company, with just two employees and a sewing machine in a barn. Today, Spectrum Designs operates four locations in New York, New Jersey and Florida, and is on track to generate $10 million in revenue this year. Mental Health Supports Designed for Veterans & Their Families
