Was steckt hinter diesen Abkürzungen? Was bedeutet die Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive? As you know, I'm Melanie, and I'll be your solo host for the next few weeks.  If you are interested in learning more about sustainability in business, about how to use your most valuable tool - your skills to express your thoughts and ideas - in order to level up your impact in business life and how to establish smart routines to train your communication skills I will provide you with great content while you have your headphones plugged in and relax your eyes by not looking into your computer for some minutes.  Why not have a walk in the nature or at least look at the next green spots near your place! Today, we're going to explore the power of small steps and how they can make a big difference in both sustainability and effective communication. In our last episode, the episode no 23, we talked about the importance of storytelling and honing your communication skills to make a real impact. But what if I told you that sometimes, it's the little things that count the most? Yes, those small, seemingly insignificant actions can accumulate into something much larger and more meaningful. Today's episode will cover: How small sustainable choices can lead to big changes. The 'Micro-Skill' approach to improving your communication. The coaching questions for this week: First: What's one small sustainable choice you can commit to making this week? Why your potential for impact diminishes every day unless you put storytelling onto your agenda | Episode 23

Hello and welcome to our future talks for This week. This is a podcast hosted by two friends called Silke and Melanie. We started this podcast together in spring 2023. At the moment, Silke is very busy redesigning her business and therefore I, Melanie, will host this podcast for the next few weeks alone and care for you, dear listeners, in order to spend some worthwhile time with all of you.  If you're interested in learning about  more sustainability in business how to use your most valuable tool - your skills to express your thoughts and ideas - in order to level up your impact in business life  how to establish smart routines to train your communication skills  … I will provide you with great content while you have your headphones plugged in and relax your eyes by not looking into your computer for some minutes.  This episode is about these topics:  Why your potential for impact diminishes every day unless you put storytelling onto your agenda  What I learnt and want to share: Always, every single day, take your time and work on your communication skills and speaker excellence My giveaway: the weekly coaching questions for you to take away. Some sneak preview into the deep dive:  Let´s look at this quote by Tony Robbins, the famous coach and speaker: The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment." Having an impact is something that many ambitious people have in common. Where the impact goes, however, is where ambitions differ. Let's assume we are in a community of like-minded people who are striving for more sustainability in business. Here, the impact is the positive effect of one's own efforts towards more sustainability on living beings and ecosystems that are worth protecting and in need of protection. Now I would like to continue the journey of thought: Does this active protection then come about through personal imagination and commitment alone? There must be more than just that… More to hear in this episode! And finally in this episode, my coaching questions as a take-away:  When have you considered putting your potential for real impact into words?
