Welcome to the Edmond Entrepreneurship Students Podcast! We are a team of high school upperclassmen based out of Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Edmond, Oklahoma, where we are in the Entrepreneurship program. We created this podcast to share our knowledge gained through this program, and local business owners knowledge to any and all who are interested in the world of entrepreneurship. Today we welcome Mr. Mark Beffort, CEO of Robinson Park Real Estate and President at Square Deal Investments. Mr. Beffort talks to us about his extensive resume in the real estate business and where it all started, as well as his current projects, including the Convergence building in the OKC Innovation District. He also offers his advice on picking professions, how to start in real estate, and the key to making it work.
Today we welcome DeAndre Martin, who talks about his role in creating the Oklahoma Innovation District, what makes our state special for business, and the usefulness of project management in all fields. He also discusses the Innovation District's partnership with local business accelerators and how AI will bring about change within the construction industry.
