I met Christian in 2023 when he was brought onto the marketing team. I have worked underneath Christian as a student photographer for a few months, I am intrigued to get to know Christian better from behind the camera. Christian’s role as a creative is important to the office of individuals all working towards the same end goal. His content is used for publications and posts regularly. Getting to know the office side of Christian’s role at the university will be very interesting.

Ep 3 - Post-Grad Life: Daunting or Doable?

Sarah Mansfield is a recent graduate of Anderson University, having spent a few months in post-graduate life, is returning to Anderson to discuss her post-graduate life and what that looks like as a photographer. I met Sarah in 2022 in a film photography class and quickly clicked. Having experiences similar to mine and taking the same classes, I have no doubt that I and other listeners will experience similar things within the photography industry. Sarah is one of the kindest and most selfless people that I’ve met, so I have no doubt that conversations will flow and be filled with useful information.

Professor Jer Nelsen of Anderson University has registered as a business in the states of South Carolina and Indiana. Having done this twice, he has extended knowledge of the topic. Also having led two classes of students through this registration process as well, he is aware of common questions that will be asked. The interviewer (Leah) has been a student of Jer’s for three years now. She is in the process of registering herself as a business. Jer is kind and attentive to his students in all aspects of life. His experience across the board as a photographer and educator will be especially helpful for those who are in the process as well.

She now owns and operates Katie Jaynes Photography with the help of her husband, Mitchel Jaynes. Having been in the photography industry for ten years, Katie speaks about her experiences with legal matters and how to handle them properly as a professional photographer. Having worked for Katie recently, the interviewer (Leah) knows that listeners will be entertained by her stories of legal matters. Being a professional and established photographer in the Upstate, Katie is an especially seasoned photographer in the Anderson area. Katie’s insight will be very helpful for listeners, both in and outside of the upstate of South Carolina.
