About the show

Let’s Hash It Out with The Nerd. Welcome to the conversations professionals usually have after the microphones are supposed to be off. Hosted by The Nerd — Jenn, author & host of of Marketing Is Mind Control and Creative Director of Your Marketing Team at Facets of Hospitality — In her day job brain, she thinks about promotional dots to reach the most people without using mind control tactics to lure them in for product sales. This series explores the topics people she has come in contact with think about, whisper about, or research privately but rarely discuss in public forums. Not taboo-- just, not discussed. Some episodes feature guests who are experts in a field and willing to speak openly and want the SEO so we feature them prominently. Other episodes are thoughtful conversations, thought experiments, and curiosity-driven discussions with experts who just want a voice for the voiceless... not clout or SEO for their name. Topics may include: • human trafficking awareness • grooming and manipulation psychology • addiction and recovery • institutional failures • healing after medical or pharmaceutical harm • culture, power, media narratives • and the questions professionals aren’t always allowed to ask out loud Again, sometimes guests will be introduced with full credentials. Other times, they may remain anonymous so ideas can be discussed freely without negative bot clapback on these folks businesses. (however, we don't produce hate or hate-filled episodes and not let you know who's talking... we won't corrupt the use of this conversational platform of trust.) This show isn’t about claiming absolutes or propping people up for stardom— it’s about thinking out loud, comparing perspectives, and exploring ideas together. If you enjoy curious minds, honest conversation, and asking better questions, pull up a chair. Let’s hash it out... Why did Emma on The Imagination delete Brad Conley's interview?

🎙️ THEY DELETED THE ONLY INTERVIEW LIKE IT — HERE'S WHY THAT MATTERS What happens when a whistleblower lawyer's three-hour interview gets scrubbed from the internet — except for one copy found in Sweden?ABOUT THIS EPISODE The Nerd sits down with the story of Brad Conley — attorney turned whistleblower — whose 2023 interview with a prominent survivor podcast was deleted, stripped from every platform, and buried. All 191 minutes of it. In this episode, The Nerd breaks down why that interview connected so many dots across Hollywood, academia, child acting, false memory research, and the survivor community — and why she believes the suppression of Brad's story is itself part of the story. From Full House to UC Irvine, from Charles Manson's Cielo Drive address to the False Memory Syndrome Foundation, from Elizabeth Loftus to NXIVM — Brad's original interview touched names and institutions that make a lot of powerful people uncomfortable. The Nerd shares what she learned, why she was labeled "dangerous to the survivor movement" for simply asking questions, and what you need to research for yourself. This one is for the dot-connectors.EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS[00:00] — Why this episode is being live-streamed: receipts, records, and real talk[02:00] — Who is Brad Conley? Quick Tick Tip Under 1 Minute- You have time to listen!

Ticks are everywhere in 2026 - Use Cedarwood Essential Oil and maybe eucalyptus, peppermint, geranium, clove -- they all work well, but cedarwood oil is the important key.... and mix it into a sprayer bottle attachment for your hose and douse your yard or perimeter about every 2-4 weeks. Our yard is quieter for sure, and so many fewer ticks. It basically stops their breathing mechanisms, so they either can't cross that oil line or don't try to. Use cedarwood mulch/chips also as a perimeter to keep your yard walkable this summer. If you need help with this or any essential oil recipe, email Oil Lady J at GetMeOils@gmail.com - a happy sponsor of the LET'S HASH IT OUT Podcast with The NerdBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/let-s-hash-it-out-with-the-nerd--5877309/support.Let’s Hash It Out is a commentary and discussion podcast created for entertainment, thought exploration, and open conversation. Media betrayal as a high stakes whistleblower: Unveiling the Hidden Manipulations0:01 - IntroductionWe discuss the importance of conversation amid the manipulation of narratives available when one goes searching for "news." ... BUT I then heard Ally on a LIVE later that day - she said it so well, "I was glad a survivor got a minute, and great - it was covered." Perfect response - so don't hold us accountable for on-the-spot thinking of wanting Ally's group and their efforts to be rewarded with at least some airtime, but listen to Ally herself - Hawkshaw90 on X or AllysArmy.com Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/let-s-hash-it-out-with-the-nerd--5877309/support.Let’s Hash It Out is a commentary and discussion podcast created for entertainment, thought exploration, and open conversation. We should be able to talk about this...

In this crossover episode, The Nerd talks with whistleblower Brad Conley about technology and marketing in terms of the survivor movement and what's helped them survive, what's put them in danger and are they safer by speaking up or is that where handlers can find them? Our mission with these questions is NOT to ever question a survivor's story or their memories or their trauma, but instead, question more of the abusers and handlers motives and actions and people who exploit their pain and trauma in an effort to generate good marketing for a product or service they are selling - which if it benefits the survivors and those survivors are free and safe, then great- right? But if it's controlled opposition and we're all under a marketing spell that we think is truth, and we're no closer to solutions than we were fifty years ago - that's dangerous, right? Asking questions has been deemed offensive... We aren't asking questions from a stance that questions a survivors' pain which is what is reacted to sometimes, causing drama in the twitterspaces and speaking for myself, the nerd only - We have never believed that FMS or Loftus' premise that SRA didn't happen was a good stance- we are asking questions knowing their research and operating under the premise SRA did and does happen and marketing is where the public gets spun - and looking at the how and why to help us all prepare better for the constant psyops and traps. No absolutes, just questions in this tough conversation of Marketing is Mind Control. Follow Brad Conley on X (formerly twitter) at @jb_conleyWe know MK Ultra existed. We know it didn't end. We know it controlled minds and used spins similar to PR that covered it all these years --- so we have questions. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/let-s-hash-it-out-with-the-nerd--5877309/support.Let’s Hash It Out is a commentary and discussion podcast created for entertainment, thought exploration, and open conversation. Montessori and Minecraft | Let's Hash it Out with High Stakes Whistleblower Brad Conley

Minecraft isn’t just a game. Sometimes it’s a classroom, a connection point, even a mirror... Sometimes it is a hotbed of corruption. In this episode of Let’s Hash It Out, my guest is Brad Conley - a high-stakes whistleblower out of Los Angeles. He and I get into something bigger than screens and schooling. We talk about what happens when digital worlds become spaces for corruption to hide. How institutions that should care about that corruption ignore it and how officials who are trusted with children, teenagers, and the minds of vulnerable people are misusing that trust and their resources to seemingly "harm the masses" or single victims. There is a lot to unpack here... Let's Hash it Out... NOTE: We discuss MINECRAFT, but not playstyle or in a good way, so little ears should NOT listen to this podcast. -- In case SEO brought little ears here by accident, this is not information made for little ears, but it's a warning to them, so parents, listen up. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/let-s-hash-it-out-with-the-nerd--5877309/support.Let’s Hash It Out is a commentary and discussion podcast created for entertainment, thought exploration, and open conversation. Part 2 of 2 Hidden Voices, Real Stories | A discussion with high stakes whistleblower Brad Conley

Part 2 of 2 (so far) with @jb_conley about LA, Hollywood, Child Actors, Whistleblowers and Corrupt Family Courts. Ever wonder who decides which stories get heard—and which ones don’t?Here’s where things get complicated. In Part 2, we move beyond avatars and into the real-world landscape of podcasts, whistleblowers, and how narratives are shaped in real time. Not every voice is treated equally. Some are amplified overnight. Others are buried, deleted, or made impossible to find. And in between? A flood of conflicting stories, firsthand accounts, and platforms that may—or may not—have an agenda. We get into the messy middle:Why firsthand experiences matter, even when they’re uncomfortable? How have podcasts become the new gatekeepers of truth? What happens when multiple stories overlap—but don’t fully align...?And why is asking questions often discouraged when it matters most...?This isn’t about picking sides. It’s about putting everything on the table and thinking critically. Because when stories are filtered, suppressed, or strategically pushed…that shapes what people believe—and what they ignore. So how do you sort truth from noise?Thank you to my guest today. Please follow:JB - @jb_conley and if you care you, myself, The Nerd, at @TheNerdInChargeThanks for being here. Hidden Voices, Real Stories | A discussion with high stakes whistleblower Brad Conley - Part 1 of 2

Hidden Voices, Real Stories Part 1 of 2:Ever thought about how avatars could change the way survivors share their stories? 🤔 Here's a look at a new era of communication... just as a thought experiment... In a world where personal stories can inspire and heal, many survivors struggle with the pressure of being seen. Whether it’s anxiety, safety concerns, or simply not wanting to be on camera, traditional formats can hold people back. Digital avatars offer a different path—one where the message comes first. They’re not just a workaround; they’re a tool. Avatars allow survivors to express emotions, tell their stories, and connect with others without the weight of physical visibility. With visual expression still intact through animation and movement, storytelling becomes both safer and more engaging. As technology becomes more accessible, tools like avatar creation software are putting this power into more people's hands. Survivors can now share through podcasts, videos, and live streams...without sacrificing comfort or anonymity. It opens the door to something bigger:More voices. More honesty. Less fear. What would more people say if they felt safe enough to speak?Thank you to my guest today. Please follow:JB - @jb_conley and if you care to- myself, The Nerd, at @TheNerdInChargeThanks for being here.
