Igniting the spark again with Girl Lab Changemakers

In this Episode we are talking to the lovely Nikki Giant. The fabulous Nikki talks to us about how she is on a mission to reignite the spark in women. Nikki Giant is an author, social entrepreneur and the founder of The Spark Movement, an organisation that aims to support the next generation to reach their potential. Nikki hosts the Spark Sessions for Changemakers events, held on a bi-monthly basis to bring together people who want to make a difference in the world, inspiring a community of changemakers to put their purpose and passions into action. She is the founder of The Girl Lab, a consultancy agency aimed at supporting girl-focused and gender equality nonprofits, and she is a member of the Advisory Panel for the Children's Commissioner for Wales. From an Ironing Board to Multi Million Pound Business

In this Episode we are talking to the lovely Rayner Mayers Rayner started, scaled and successfully sold 40% of her business shares, which saw her exit her Cleaning Business in December 2021 at the age of 36. At the point-of-sale Rayner employed 358 staff members and had a Turn Over or nearing £4.5M. Rayner left school at 16 with very few qualifications, pregnant and claiming state benefits. She made a promise to herself then, that one day she would make something of her life. 22 years on, a lot of time spent working long hours, making huge sacrifices, completing several courses and self-developing, at the age of 38 Rayner has achieved extra-ordinary results. Disney to Making Lemonade with Organic Socials

In this Episode we are talking to the lovely Vicky Sills Vicky has over 20 years of experience working with brands to reach consumers. That means she's got a really good understanding of exactly how to get a brand and story noticed by the right people. She has always loved observing people, how they interact with each other and understand what makes them tick. She began her working life in retail marketing and PR. She can add that she is really lucky to have worked with some amazing companies and brands: The Telegraph, Evening Standard and a London-based media agency where she did film promotion for major studios like Disney, Lionsgate and Universal Pictures. Vicky loves developing creative ways of marketing a product to the general public. She's a self-confessed pop culture buff, so it was great to cut her teeth in the media and entertainment industry. 5 years ago she added a string to her bow by graduating from a social media marketing programme. It pulled together her whole skillset: helping brands reach their audience using social media in an entertaining and engaging way.
