Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this new episode, we will focus on the environmental convictions held by Tractebel. A strong commitment to a carbon-neutral future is realized in the missions carried out for clients. Projects are designed responsibly to take environmental perspectives into account. To delve deeper and illustrate this topic, I’ve invited an architect who designs transport-related projects at Tractebel. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this second episode, we will discuss the diverse expertise that drives Tractebel. We will explore the variety of careers related to engineering and discover the multitude of projects that one can work on within a single role. This global dynamic is always focused on achieving carbon neutrality and sustainability goals. To discuss all these topics, I have invited a woman whose career and mission at Tractebel illustrate this versatility. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
For this special first episode, we were inspired by an event of global importance earlier this month: International Women's Day, which took place on March 8th, to celebrate the achievements of women and mobilize support for gender equality. Tractebel strongly supports and is committed to these principles. Already, one third of our people are women, which is pretty good for an engineering company, and we’re aiming for 50% women in management by 2030. But what is the situation like for women in the engineering sector today? What are the future levers that will promote parity in this professional environment? And how can we encourage young women to become engineers? To discuss these topics, I've invited a woman whose career path and daily actions are helping to improve the position of women in the engineering sector. Stephanie Brine is Group Manager at Tractebel at the Tihange nuclear power station in Belgium. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
