Hey there, friends. I'm thrilled to have you join me today. For those of you who don't know me yet, I'm ChareenGoodman, the proud founder of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ and Crack the Consulting C.O.D.E.™ Frameworks and creator of LinkedMinded™ Using Ai. As a business coach, I've spent years empowering coaches and consultants just like you, helping to build and position their businesses for continuous growth. As the host of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ podcast, we're diving into a topic that's so incredibly relevant today for coaches and consultants who are using LinkedIn to grow their business. And that topic is leveraging AI for targeted marketing and lead generation on LinkedIn. Yes. You heard that right. We're going to explore how artificial intelligence can revolutionize your marketing efforts, making it easier than ever to connect with your ideal clients and generate high quality leads. Now isn't that amazing? I think so. I love using AI in my business and teaching my clients how to use the power of AI in their business even when it comes to LinkedIn. Nowadays, we don't have the time to twaddle. We are out to make a difference for our clients, yet at the same time, we have to market, and LinkedIn is the place to do it for many of us.

Chareen Goodman [00:02:22]:
But we have to know how to target our marketing efforts to get the best output and results. Wouldn't you agree? Now I know the world of AI can seem a bit intimidating, but trust me, it's more accessible than you might think. And when applied strategically and used correctly, it can be a game changer for your LinkedIn strategy. So buckle up, buttercup. By the end of our time together, you'll have a clear understanding of how AI can optimize your marketing efforts to reach your ideal future clients while balancing it with that all important personal touch. So grab your favorite beverage, get comfy, and let's dive in. I'm excited to dive into this segment, which is one of the most crucial parts of your LinkedIn strategy today. In this segment, we'll talk about mastering your targeting.

Chareen Goodman [00:03:28]:
Trust me, getting this right isn't just important. It's essential. Targeting isn't just a part of your LinkedIn strategy. It's the heartbeat of your LinkedIn strategy. To be effective with your marketing efforts, you have to know who you're talking to or trying to reach on LinkedIn, or you'll be targeting the abyss of the over 1 billion people on the LinkedIn platform. Without a target, it will be like throwing a dart with your eyes closed. Sometimes it hits. Often it misses.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:03]:
Right? Well, that's what your LinkedIn efforts will be without targeted strategies, lots of effort and uncertain outcomes. But when you target effectively, every move you make is calculated, every effort has direction, and every resource you employ is optimized for strategic impact. Okay. I know that was a lot, so let me give you an example of why targeting is so from a perspective that you should be able to relate to as a coach or consultant. Just imagine trying to sell a workshop on leadership skills to someone who's passionate about gardening. It just doesn't quite fit, does it? That's why precise targeting is crucial for coaches and consultants on LinkedIn. Targeting guarantees that your valuable insights and advice are reaching the targeted audience. You know, those who are truly interested and ready to benefit from your expertise and are excited about what you have to offer.

Chareen Goodman [00:05:11]:
With effective targeting, you're not just sharing information aimlessly. You're connecting directly with individuals who are eager to learn from you and ideally work with you. Getting your targeting right on LinkedIn means you're not wasting efforts on an audience that isn't aligned with your business goals. It's about being smart, not broad. Now how can you master this game? Let's break it down into some practical steps. Step 1, define or refine your audience. Start with the basics. Who are they? What do they do? What challenges do they face? The more detailed you are, the better you can tailor your message.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:00]:
Step 2, leverage AI intelligence. Guys, this is the 21st century, and AI is your new business bestie. Did you know that there are AI tools out there that will even create your ideal client profile? Get comfortable using AI tools to analyze data trends, user behaviors, and engagement patterns. This will help you anticipate needs and customize your interactions on LinkedIn. Step 3, share relevant thought leadership content. Be a leader, not a follower. Produce content that speaks volumes about your expertise targeted to your ideal future clients. When your content is targeted, it not only attracts attention, but builds trust and establishes your authority brand as a front runner in your coaching or consulting niche.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:58]:
Master these steps, and you're not just playing the game. You're changing the game for yourself on LinkedIn. Okay. That's it for this segment. Stay tuned for more insights coming your way in the next segment. Catch you over there. In this segment, let's talk about the power of AI in marketing on LinkedIn using AI, shall we? Quick question. Have you ever wondered how to level up your marketing game? The answer is simpler than you might think.

Chareen Goodman [00:07:40]:
It's AI. Imagine transforming your marketing efforts from a shot in the dark to a laser focused strategy that hits the bull's eye every time. That's what AI can do for you. Folks, AI has landed on the scene like the Terminator, and it ain't going back up to Skynet. So welcome to a brave new world where you can truly get up close and personal by understanding your customers. Gone are the days of guesswork and vague assumptions. With AI, we, as coaches and consultants, have the power to analyze mountains of data without needing a team of data folks to do the work. With AI, it's like having a crystal ball ball that gives you a clear view into what drives your audience, what they need, and what they want.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:33]:
Now here's a here's a kicker for you. When we talk about lead generation, the first thing that comes to mind is the idea of casting a wide net and hoping for the best. Remember, hope is not a strategy. But what if you could use AI to transform what you do and do it better? What if you could target individuals who are not only interested in what you offer, but are most likely to engage with you about what you offer. That's exactly what AI allows you to do. By sifting through endless data, you can pinpoint those individuals who are primed and ready to engage with your content and offer. Welcome to the future of lead generation, and In today's world, consumers have gotten spoiled. They now crave personalization, and you gotta give it to them.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:33]:
They wanna feel seen, understood, and valued. Again, that's where AI comes in to save the day and your business. By offering precision and personalization at scale, AI empowers you to move away from generic marketing strategies and towards ones that are tailored to each of your targeted prospects. Game changer indeed. So if you're ready to elevate your marketing game and start connecting with your ideal future clients more effectively, you need an AI dream team. I've got one, and I call it my a team. Trust me. Once you see what AI can do, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Chareen Goodman [00:10:24]:

Chareen Goodman [00:13:47]:
Alright. Back to the episode. So up to this point, we've talked about the importance of targeting and the power of AI in marketing on LinkedIn. Now are you ready to explore the extraordinary fusion of AI and personalization tailored just for you? If so, then get a refill as we journey into the realm where automation and your unique touch converge to create magic, especially within the dynamic landscape of LinkedIn. In this segment, let's kick off by unraveling the essence of this fusion. Picture having an AI assistant, let's call him Stan, that will help you create an ideal client profile based on the exact needs, goals, pain points, and desires of your target on LinkedIn. Pretty amazing, isn't it? By blending intelligent automation tools with your distinctive personal touch, you can create a truly remarkable experience. Let's delve into 2 remarkable tools you can use to supercharge your efforts on LinkedIn, Taplio and Waalaxy.

Chareen Goodman [00:15:05]:
So what sets these two tools apart? Well, for starters, these tools empower you to personalize with a lot less effort. That means, for example, if you are trying to connect with your targeted audience for an upcoming workshop, these tools enable you to craft personalized messages tailored to your peeps and send them out for you so you don't have to do the work manually. For example, with Waalaxy, you can connect and message your prospects on LinkedIn and by email via smart automated sequences and create templated messages with a spice of personalization that not only echo your voice but resonate with your essence. Position yourself as an authority on LinkedIn. With Taplio, you can build a strong authority brand on LinkedIn by using AI to write post ideas that generate engagement, transform likes and followers into leads and clients, grow your network, and build relationships, plus so much more. These are just a few of the AI tools I'll show coaches and consultants how to incorporate into their business in my upcoming LinkedMinded™ Using Ai coaching program. Just remember that while these tools are incredibly potent, LinkedIn is not the platform to let the AI run rampant. Your authenticity and human interaction are what will set you apart.

Chareen Goodman [00:16:38]:
Let AI complement, not replace your personal touch. To wrap this up on a high note, here are some quick tactics to ensure you remain unforgettable as you employ AI as part of your LinkedIn. 1, always be you. Even when using templates, tweak them to reflect your unique brand voice. 2, engagement is key even when it comes to using AI. Use AI to keep the conversation going and jump in personally when things start to get interesting. 3, review and refine. Don't take your hands off the wheel or become lazy because you have an AI assistant.

Chareen Goodman [00:17:24]:
Stay woke. Use the analytics from these tools to see what works and what doesn't work so you can optimize and personalize further. By integrating AI with a personal touch, you're not just reaching your ideal future clients. You're reaching them smarter and with heart. So get out there, mix in your personality with some smart AI tools, and watch as you connect, collaborate, and convert your targeted audience into clients. Now let's start to wrap things up. You know talking about LinkedIn is so vast and deep, and we could hang out all day, but I know you have a business to build and clients to help. But what a journey we've embarked on together today.

Chareen Goodman [00:18:22]:
We've started by talking about the key to your LinkedIn success, which is targeting. We delved into the exciting world of AI and its transformative power when applied to marketing on LinkedIn, and we discovered how utilizing AI can help you optimize your outreach to your ideal future clients and strike the perfect balance between automation and personalization. Sounds impressive. Right? But these aren't just concepts. They are practical steps ready to take your LinkedIn strategy to the next level. There's no question about it. And when you add LinkedMinded™ Using Ai to the mix, you have the profound opportunity to learn how to incorporate state of the art AI tools into your LinkedIn strategy, ensuring you're not just a cog on LinkedIn, but a leader. So as we wrap up, I want to emphasize the importance of embracing AI driven strategies for LinkedIn success.

Chareen Goodman [00:19:26]:
By doing so, you're setting yourself up for building stronger relationships and significantly growing your influence among your ideal future clients. And remember, you're not alone in this journey. I'm here to guide you every step of the way. I want to thank you for investing your valuable time and for your keen interest in understanding how AI can dramatically enhance your targeting, marketing, and lead generation efforts on LinkedIn. Adapting to LinkedIn's Changing Landscape: Insights and Tips for Coaches and Consultants

Episode 33: Transcript

Chareen Goodman [00:00:04]:
Welcome to the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ Podcast, where every other Thursday Coach and consultants from all over the world can tune in to get a dose of good info to help them crack the code in their coaching or consulting business. On this podcast, you will get what you need to make your coaching or consulting Business a true dream Business, whether that's a short learn to earn knowledge session or a full length interview industry. This podcast will give you the inspiration, motivation, but above all, the encouragement you need to get you and keep you building and growing your own coaching or consulting practice.

Chareen Goodman [00:01:22]:
Hey there, coaches and consultants. Welcome to today's episode of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ Podcast. I'm your host, Chareen Goodman, business coach and host of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ Podcast. The one who guides you through the maze of modern coaching and consulting armed with nothing but wit, wisdom, and a bit of digital savvy. I'm thrilled to continue our series, the LinkedIn Authority Blueprint for Coach and Consultants. And today, we're diving head first into something that's got the LinkedIn world buzzing, and let's be honest, a bit baffled. Folks, the landscape of LinkedIn has changed again. I don't know if you've noticed this or not, but LinkedIn has specifically changed the way we've been connecting with our peers, possible collaborators, and Host importantly, our ideal future clients. So what's happening on LinkedIn? Well, in a nutshell, LinkedIn has tweaked the rules of the game, particularly around connection requests. Remember the good old days when you could send a personalized note with your connection invite, making it warm, personal, and frankly, more human. Yeah. Those days have taken a bit of a turn if you have a free LinkedIn account. It's becoming trickier to add that personal touch now, thanks to some new restrictions.

Chareen Goodman [00:02:23]:
You shoot out an invite and sit there wondering why the world seems silent on the other end. Friends, I feel your pain. I discovered this when I sent out a batch of invites in my typical outreach fashion, each one meticulously crafted, only to discover they were all sent without my personalized notes. Talk about a digital face palm moment. Right? But here's the silver lining. Change isn't always a setback. It can be a setup for something even grander. The key, adaptation and a sprinkle of innovation.

Chareen Goodman [00:03:02]:
As we dive into the next few segments, I encourage you to think of this not as a barrier, but as a call to up your LinkedIn game. It's time to get creative, get personal in new ways, and Host importantly, get connecting the right way. The game is changing, but so are we into even more savvier, more connected coaches and consultants. I've got some groundbreaking content lined up just for you. So my friends, it's time to grab that pen, paper, or iPad because in the next segment, we're peeling back the layers on some real struggles, but more importantly, real strategies for overcoming them. And trust me, it's gonna be game changing for you. Let's get ready to jump right in. See you in the next segment.

Chareen Goodman [00:03:57]:
Welcome back, beautiful people. We're here in segment 2, diving into the heart and sometimes the heartache of connecting on LinkedIn in this brand new LinkedIn maze. Today, we're not just speaking from theory. We're getting down with the real deal, the stories, the struggles, and that tug of war with patience as we all wait for those connection requests to transform into meaningful engagements. Let me lay it out there. So as of January 2024, those friendly folks at LinkedIn put a cap on how many personalized connection request notes we can send. Coaches and consultants with free accounts are now looking at a tight squeeze of 5 to 15 notes a month. Why, you ask? The goal seems noble enough.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:51]:
LinkedIn is on a mission to foster more thoughtful outreach. Dial down on the spam and automation frenzy, and let's not forget, give a nudge towards their premium monthly subscriptions. And with a community now over a billion strong, it's a bustling digital world out there. I heard from Mia, a leadership coach in sunny California who shared, "I planned to launch my big coaching program this spring, reaching out to new connections on LinkedIn, then this curveball. It felt like running into a digital wall at full speed." Ouch! And then there's Michael from Toronto, a consultant in the Green Tech space, and he mentioned, "Talk about a switcheroo. It's like trying to have a lively dinner conversation, but being told you can only say 15 words per meal.Very tricky".

Chareen Goodman [00:05:45]:
Boy, the frustration is real, and it stings of discouragement. But here in our little corner of the podcast world, we're all about flipping the script. So what do we as savvy coaches and consultants do? We get innovative. We get strategic. Instead of seeing this as a blockade, let's view it as a creative challenge. As people who cause transformation for others, that's what we do. We rise to the challenges in front of us.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:18]:
So how can we make our outreach even more impactful now that every note counts like gold? First off, don't put all your eggs in the connection request basket. Shift your LinkedIn strategy to start engaging outside the LinkedIn inbox. Find posts that resonate with you and leave comments that spark conversation and showcase your insight. In my upcoming LinkedMinded™ Using AI group coaching program, I have some amazing ways I'll be training participants on how to do this, which will skyrocket your LinkedIn game plan. I encourage you to seriously consider enrolling in this program because you will be blown away not only by what you learn, but by what you implement. And here's a playful but powerful idea you can implement right now is to treat your connection notes like a prized collection. Be selective in the people you wanna connect with and be purposeful in your outreach, where it is almost as if you're crafting a limited edition of personal notes each month. Make each one of your outreach actions count, quality over quantity, and targeted versus scatter shots.

Chareen Goodman [00:07:33]:
Just don't forget, the restrictions can be the mother of invention. Get creative, get targeted. This is your time to shine brighter, engage deeper, and connect smarter. Now hang in there, my coaching and consulting champions. Stay tuned because just around the corner, I've got a few pre game changer strategies that'll have you seeing these challenges Welcome back, my fellow trailblazers. This segment, oh, it's all about turning those LinkedIn lemons into the zestiest lemonade you've ever tasted. In this segment, we're talking all about turning those tough LinkedIn changes into your strategic advantage. And guess what? You've got more power in your hands than you might think.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:29]:
Let's get started diving into those game changers that will transform the way you connect, engage, and thrive on LinkedIn. First up, let's tackle this head on. The days of spray and pray and wham, bam thank you spam on LinkedIn. Well, they're out. Gone are the times of unlimited connection requests with personalized notes. Bummer. I know. Now we're playing in a field where clarity, focus, and precision in connecting with our targeted market aren't just nice to have.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:05]:
They're must haves. Imagine this. Every month, you're given a precious handful of 5 to 15 golden tickets in the form of connection requests with notes. Yes. They seem limited, but think of them as your select pass to connect with people who truly matter to your business. That's your treasure chest for bridging the gap between you and those meaningful contacts, those who need and want your expertise, who can invest in your services, and who you genuinely want to do business with. Pause for reflection on this. But here's where the plot thickens, and the magic starts to unfold.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:47]:
Did you know about LinkedIn's Social Selling Index, SSI? It's this super cool metric, a key performance indicator that measures just how effectively you're engaging on the platform. Sure. You've got restrictions on connection requests, but your SSI, it's your secret weapon. Think of your SSI as your LinkedIn health check. It's looking at your ability to establish your brand, find the right people, engage with insights, and build relationships. The SSI score compares your performance against others in your industry or network, providing valuable insights into how your content resonates with your audience. It's like having a personal LinkedIn coach who tells you exactly what's working and where you can level up. The healthier your score, the more LinkedIn rewards you with the ability to connect broadly and deeply.

Chareen Goodman [00:10:45]:
With the SSI score as your guide, you can refine your strategy to focus on quality over quantity. No more spray and pray tactics. A higher SSI score not only garners respect, but also increases your visibility on LinkedIn. Did you know that? By engaging meaningfully with your posts, sharing relevant content, and interacting in a way that adds value, your SSI score climbs and so does the quality of your network. Consider your SSI score as more than just a number. It's a reflection of your LinkedIn prowess and an avenue to strategic growth amidst restrictions. So, my friends, as we launch out to navigate these capped and restrained LinkedIn waters, let's remember, constraints breed creativity. Again, when it comes to your ideal future clients, it's about quality over quantity, deep connections over broad networks, and genuine engagement over generic outreach.

Chareen Goodman [00:11:51]:
If there's one segment you'll want to lean in for, it's this one. We're about to get up close and personal with some insider strategies on cracking the LinkedIn Coach. And, yes, it involves a little AI wizardry. How about we sprinkle some AI magic into our LinkedIn strategy? Consider artificial intelligence your digital wand for standing out as an authority brand to your targeted audience. Power tools like ChatGPT can be your ally in crafting a LinkedIn profile that screams expertise and authenticity if you know how to ask the right questions.

Chareen Goodman [00:13:41]:
Another concept I'll be covering in my LinkedMinded™ Using AI coaching program. Just imagine leveraging AI to analyze the most engaging posts in your field or niche. Using AI to optimize your profile based on successful patterns or using AI to simply draft connection notes that resonate more personally and specifically with those you want to connect with. Yep. There are quite a few to help you do this, and the ones I've discovered are awesome. With AI, you're not just another coach or consultant in a sea of professionals. You're the authority source of knowledge, expertise, and value that your ideal future clients gravitate towards. Okay.

Chareen Goodman [00:14:32]:
You've heard me rave about LinkedMinded™ Using AI. And trust me, it's not just because it sounds cool. It's because it is cool and powerful and transformative. It's all about using AI tools and technology to supercharge your LinkedIn presence, build your LinkedIn ecosystem, and engage meaningfully with your audience. Also, you can work smarter as you find quality leads and grow your business with LinkedIn. Again, with over a billion people on the platform, Friends, let's break it down into some actionable tips you can start implementing today.

Chareen Goodman [00:15:33]:
Tip number 1, optimize your profile for your ideal future clients. Use tools like ChatGPT to refine your headline, summary, and even your experience sections. I have a killer model that I'll be showing the coaches and consultants how to implement in my LinkedMinded™ Using AI coach program, and it's been working pretty well for me. Tip number 2. Content is king and engagement is queen. Before sending out a connection request, interact with your target's content. Leave thoughtful comments, share their Host with your insights, and make your virtual presence known. When the time comes to connect, your name will light up in recognition. And, yes, there are strategies and AI tools that can help you with that. Tip number 3, Create your own authority thought leadership content with an AI assistant.

Chareen Goodman [00:16:22]:
Why are you doing all of the heavy lifting when it comes to content these days? Let your AI assistant help you craft content that resonates with your targeted audience and helps you grow your following. Use AI tools to analyze top performing posts in your niche and use the insights you get to model your own content. I want you to start thinking of AI as your personal content strategy consultant. AI has totally helped me 10 x my content game. I wrote about this in one of my blog posts. I'll leave a link to it in the show notes.

Chareen Goodman [00:17:10]:
Tip number 4. You still need to personalize and do it at scale with the help of AI. Yes. The personalized notes you use to send with your connection requests may now be limited. But what if you could ensure each one is so impactful that your acceptance rate skyrockets? Mine has. I currently have an average 42% acceptance rate on my connection request. Can you believe that with a little help from AI, you can understand your prospects' interests, challenges, and language, making your invitation impossible for them to ignore? It's true. Again, something I am training and coaching on in my program. Remember, using AI isn't about being inauthentic. Not at all.

Chareen Goodman [00:17:54]:
In fact, it's quite the opposite. It's about bringing all of your humanness to the forefront while harnessing the power of AI technology to deepen connections, to be more attuned to your audience's needs, and to present yourself as the go to expert they've been searching for. So there you have it. In a world where LinkedIn is putting up fences, we're not just finding the gate, We're creating our own keys. These strategies aren't just about surviving. They're about thriving in your coaching or consulting business with LinkedIn and AI. And with that, we wrap up another juicy segment. Stay with me for the final segment.

Today, I'm thrilled to continue our series, the LinkedIn Authority Blueprint for coaches and consultants. And today, we're diving into a topic that I know many of you have been eager to explore.

Chareen Goodman [00:01:23]:
Unlocking the power of LinkedIn using thought leadership content. If you're looking to leverage LinkedIn to not just connect, but truly stand out and attract your ideal future clients who will benefit immensely from your expertise, then you're in the right place. So why focus on LinkedIn and why now? Well, in this post COVID era, the digital landscape has shifted dramatically. Traditional networking events have taken a back seat, making LinkedIn the front runner for professional connections. It's no longer just a platform for job seekers, but a powerful tool for building authority and establishing thought leadership within your coaching or consulting niche and a place where you can find your peeps and grow your practice. But before we take off on our topic today, I'd like to quickly share my story to help set a context for our episode today. Here's the bottom line. I've been where you are struggling to make my mark in the crowded online space of coaching and consulting. But over the years, through trial and error and a lot of learning, I've crafted content strategies that have proven to be quite effective in positioning me as a thought leader on LinkedIn. I've harnessed the power of LinkedIn to not only grow my own coaching business, but also help other professionals elevate their online presence. And with AI technology like chat GPT coming on the scene like The Terminator, I have absolutely elevated my game.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:07]:
In this episode, we're going to cover how you can transform your LinkedIn content from a mere hodgepodge of posts to a robust channel for sharing your unique insights and attracting more of your ideal future clients. I'll be sharing tips and insights that can help elevate your game on LinkedIn using thought leadership content. You'll learn about crafting posts that showcase your expertise, connect with your audience on a personal level through engaging stories and ultimately create a brand presence that feels both authentic and authoritative. By the end of this episode, you'll have a clear understanding of how to use content on LinkedIn effectively to support your growth as a coach or consultant. And you'll be equipped with actionable tips to enhance your content strategy that resonates with your audience and aligns with your business goals. So are you ready to start this journey? Great. Then grab a pen and paper, pop in your earbuds, and let's go. Let's dive into how you can master LinkedIn content and become the go to expert in your field.

Chareen Goodman [00:05:33]:
Thought leadership is a way to showcase your unique insights, knowledge, point of view, and expertise. On LinkedIn, thought leadership posts are an excellent way to elevate your authority brand and establish yourself as an expert in your field, making it easier for you to connect with potential clients. Through crafting thoughtful, insightful posts, you can forge meaningful connections with your ideal future clients. But how can we achieve this? Well, let's explore that.. What makes a post stand out as a thought leadership piece of content? First, it starts with creating valuable content. Your audience is looking for insights that can help them solve problems or improve their lives or or businesses. It's not about promoting your services outright, although you must market and promote your services. Otherwise, how will people become aware of them? But your thought leadership post is more about providing solutions that resonate with your audience's needs and challenges. Let's take a quick peek into the historical context of thought leadership on LinkedIn. In the early days, it was enough to have a polished profile and a large list of connections. But as the platform evolved, so did the expectations of its members. Today, people on LinkedIn are looking for more than just credentials.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:32]:
They're seeking genuine insight and expertise from coaches and consultants like you. Did you know that one of the most effective ways to deliver this is through infographics? Yep. You see, an infographic is a visual representation of data or information that can capture, engage, and inform your audience succinctly and creatively. Infographics are not only visually appealing, but they also offer a unique way of communicating complex and unique data or concepts, making them easier for your audience to understand and digest. In addition to infographics, creating original content by sharing insights, experiences, and industry trends also helps establish thought leadership. This is the most common practice on LinkedIn and can be achieved simply through regular and consistent posting. Consider doing regular social posts, LinkedIn articles, or even hosting LinkedIn live sessions. But remember, when it comes to real thought leadership, authenticity is key.

Chareen Goodman [00:07:48]:
The more original and authentic your content is, the more it will resonate with your targeted audience, leading to increased engagement and business opportunities. Let me sum it up by saying this. Thought leadership on LinkedIn extends well beyond a polished profile and connection list. It encompasses creating valuable authentic content, utilizing engaging formats like value and insightful posts, infographics, active networking, networking, and fostering meaningful interactions. And we've also discovered that a post isn't just a post. Your thought leadership post serves as a source of wisdom and knowledge for your audience. The starting place for such a beacon is unsurprisingly valuable content. Your audience is always on the hunt for solutions, insights, and information that can help them handle their problems and elevate their lives or even their businesses.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:53]:
We're not here to just promote our services per se, but rather to offer resonating solutions to the needs and challenges of our audience. So as we close this segment, let's carry with us the understanding of how thought leadership posts can truly shape your LinkedIn presence. Stay tuned as we move on to our next segment, where we will further explore how to create content that positions and engages on LinkedIn. Hey. Hey. Hey. Awesome listeners. Welcome back to the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ podcast, your go to spot for all things authority branding and making a splash in the digital world.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:44]:
I'm Chareen Goodman. And today, we're diving head first into the world of LinkedIn, but with a twist. As we dive into this next segment, we're going to explore how thought leadership posts can help position you as an authority, engage your target audience, and ultimately sell your services. To make it even more tangible, I'm gonna share, real life stories, provide relatable examples, and offer you actionable tips. So are you ready to discover how thought leadership posts can become the driving force behind your LinkedIn success? Let's get right to it. Here's your first tip. The secret sauce of your thought leadership success on LinkedIn is sharing your personal story. Guys, there's power in your journey, whether it's your triumphs, your hurdles, or the little moments in between.

Chareen Goodman [00:10:46]:
Your story is what sets you apart from the digital crowd and the sea of coaches and consultants out there. Think of your personal story as your signature, impossible to replicate and uniquely valuable. I recall a client of mine who struggled to stand out within her niche of corporate leadership consulting. On LinkedIn, she was posting about her services, but rarely received any interaction or leads. After working together 1 on 1, we shifted her LinkedIn strategy to posting more thought leadership content. She began sharing insights from her years of experience in the corporate world, like how to navigate office politics or implement successful change management strategies. These posts were loaded with actionable tips, making them incredibly valuable to her audience of corporate professionals. For your own thought leadership posts, think about the unique knowledge you've gained through your experience over the years.

Chareen Goodman [00:11:54]:
Share insights that are not commonly known or or discussed but are extremely relevant to your targeted audience. And to add even more spice and to bring your own LinkedIn posts to life, consider sharing stories from your personal or professional journey. Remember, your goal is to provide value and demonstrate your expertise. Show your authenticity and vulnerability. It's these human elements that will connect with your audience on a deeper level. Here's another example of how you can share an inspiring success story like mine. So once I was coaching a business consultant, and he was initially skeptical about the effectiveness of LinkedIn. Most of his clients came through word-of-mouth, which is not uncommon for most consultants.

Chareen Goodman [00:12:44]:
And he saw LinkedIn as just another social media distraction, which it can be if you don't have a LinkedIn strategy. Anyway, after a few coaching sessions, he decided to give it a try and started sharing his business insights and experiences in a storytelling kind of way. One of his posts caught the attention of a CEO of a fast growing startup, who then reached out to him through a DM. They set up a consultation, and the rest is history. Now the moral of this story is that people are always watching you on social media, and you never know who might be reading your posts. So position yourself with your thought leadership content by regularly sharing valuable content and stories, you increase the chances of catching the eye of your ideal future clients. Remember this, successful LinkedIn stories have a few things in common. They're authentic and and they engage your audience on a human level.

Chareen Goodman [00:13:51]:
They show vulnerability and allow people to see the human side of you, not just the professional coach or consultant you are. Your stories bridge the gap between you and your audience, making your content more memorable and impactful. And that, my friends, brings us to the end of this insightful segment. Remember, successful thought leadership posts are not just about showing off your knowledge. They're about positioning yourself as an expert every step of the way and effectively engaging with your targeted audience in a way that leads to business growth. It's about sharing valuable, relevant content in a good old fashioned storytelling way that resonates with your audience's needs and challenges. Take the stories, examples, and tips shared today, and start transforming your LinkedIn content strategy. I can't wait to see how you use these insights to shine on LinkedIn, so be sure to connect with me so I can follow your journey.

Chareen Goodman [00:15:03]:
But don't go anywhere just yet. We've laid the foundation, shared the secrets, and now it's time to put all that knowledge into action. In our next segment, we're on the brink of exploring something just as exciting, the science of writing content that sells without selling. This next segment is going to be a game changer, especially for those of you looking to make a splash on LinkedIn without sounding like a sales pitch. So sharpen those pencils, refill the ink, or let's be real, open up a new Google Doc, and get ready for some actionable tips that will transform your content strategy. Welcome back. This segment is chalked with goodness. So are you ready to make your mark on LinkedIn without sounding like a sales pitch? In this segment, we're getting down to the nitty gritty and covering the skinny on creating content that truly sells without selling. Imagine whipping up thought leadership posts with your audience that have them nodding along, thinking, this is exactly what I needed. It's all about getting cozy with your audience's needs, spicing up your posts with genuine value, and letting your true self shine. So here's what you need to know. First things first, knowing your audience is like having a treasure map. The treasure, their attention, and trust. The first step in crafting any thought leadership content that sells on LinkedIn is understanding your target audience. This involves knowing their needs, challenges, and aspirations. Dive into their world.

Chareen Goodman [00:16:55]:
Understand what makes them tick. By aligning your expertise with their needs, your content will naturally resonate and draw your ideal future clients to you. 2nd, provide value over selling. Here's a secret. Thought leadership isn't about selling. It's about giving, giving knowledge, insights, and solutions. Thought leadership content should not be overtly salesy. Instead, its primary purpose should be to provide value. This can be achieved by sharing insights, knowledge, or solutions that can help your audience overcome their challenges or achieve their goals. The selling aspect comes naturally when your audience recognizes the value you can provide. 3rd, authenticity and vulnerability. Authenticity is a powerful selling point and is your superpower in the digital world. Sharing not just your victories, but also your battles makes you human, relatable, and trustworthy. Being open about your experiences, including successes and failures, can help build trust with your audience. This makes your thought leadership content more relatable and impactful, leading to stronger connections with potential clients.

Chareen Goodman [00:18:19]:
4th, consistency is key. Imagine your content as a heartbeat, consistent, strong, and life giving. By keeping a steady pulse on LinkedIn, sharing insights and engaging content, you become more than a profile. You become an online presence, a visible force to be reckoned with. Consistency in posting thought leadership content helps establish your presence and authority brand on LinkedIn. Regularly sharing valuable insights keeps you on top of mind and encourages your audience to engage with your posts. And 5th, engage and interact. Thought leadership isn't a monologue. It's a conversation. Engaging with your audience is integral to selling without direct selling. Dive into the comments, mingle in groups, and interact with other content. Respond to comments on your posts, participate in LinkedIn Groups relevant to your area of expertise, and engage with other people's content. This active participation helps build relationships, foster trust, and position you as a leader in your field. This isn't just networking. It's building a community Every, like, every comment, every response is a brick in the bridge between you and your audience. And there you have it, folks, your authority blueprint to crafting thought leadership content on LinkedIn that doesn't just speak to your audience, but sings to them by understanding your audience, valuing generosity over selling, embracing your true self, and engaging actively.

Chareen Goodman [00:20:14]:

Chareen Goodman [00:03:47]:
Welcome to our first segment, where we're diving deep into the heart of what makes or breaks a coach or consultant's online success. Yes. You've guessed it. It's branding. Branding, that big, often misunderstood concept. Let's start off with some basic concepts about branding. A brand is not just a logo or a catchy slogan. It's the entire perception people have about you. Branding is what people say and think about you when you're not present. Branding is the mental real estate you take up in the mind of your ideal future client. But here's where it gets really interesting. When we talk about branding, it's easy to conjure up images of flashy logos or catchy jingles that get stuck in your head for days.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:29]:
But let me share a little secret. Your brand goes way beyond that. Zooming in a bit, when we talk about your personal brand, we're taking a peek into your unique skills, experiences, and that special sprinkle of personality But hold on. Because here's the twist. But hold on. Because here's the twist. Imagine taking your personal brand and injecting it with a dose of your coaching or consulting superhero power of thought leadership, distinctive insights, value driven targeted engagement. What you get is an authority brand.

Chareen Goodman [00:05:14]:
This isn't just any upgrade. It's your personal brand flexing its muscles, showing off your expertise and superpower in your specific zone of genius, which attracts the right people to you. Now while your personal brand is all about your fabulous self, your authority brand is zoomed in on your superpower, your brain power, what you know, and how you use your smarts to be the problem solver, the question answer, the go to person your ideal future clients are looking for. In a nutshell, that's the low down on taking your personal brand from, hey. I'm pretty cool to an authority brand of, follow me. I know the way. Let's move on now to our next segment, where we'll dive deeper into why your authority brand matters on LinkedIn. And now, without further ado, let's jump into something super cool, and incredibly important.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:23]:
Why having an authority brand matters on LinkedIn? This is a hot topic. Whether you're hunting for the ultimate fitness coach who will transform your couch potato lifestyle into a zesty one or you're searching for a business coach to help you go from plain to profound, you don't just want anybody. You want the right person. Right? Imagine needing a fitness coach. You don't scout for Joe Schmo. You're on the lookout for someone who breathes fitness, whose every post pumps you up, whose videos make you wanna leap off your sofa and do a push up or 2, or when you crave that business growth, you're not after Bob from next door. Now you want that well rounded wizard of business who brings wisdom, strategy, and insights to those pesky business problems you keep having. That, my friends, is the power of having an authority brand.

Chareen Goodman [00:07:26]:
Your articles, they're not simply written words. They're precious paths that lead your ideal future clients to new understanding. Your videos aren't merely clips. They're the golden tickets to the value you bring. And those testimonials, well, they're not bragging. They're proof that you are the superhero your ideal future client has been searching for. Having an authority brand on LinkedIn is like being on a pedestal, but in a good way, it's all about shining so bright that clients and peers don't just see you. They're attracted to you.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:06]:
They don't see just another coach or consultant, they see the definitive expert, the go to, the one they trust without batting an eye. So why is this distinction super important? Because, my friends, in a world where everyone is shouting to be heard, an authority brand whispers confidently into the right ears. And if you've ever wondered why some coaches and consultants are killing it on LinkedIn, now you know. They're not just playing the game. They're strategically positioning themselves as thought leaders, as authority figures in their defined niche. And, oh, boy, let me tell you. It pays off. In our next segment, we'll dive into what some of the characteristics are of a successful authority brand.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:01]:
Trust me. You don't wanna miss it. Catch you in the next segment. Hey, folks. Welcome back to our enlightening journey through the world of authority branding on LinkedIn. If you've ever wondered what makes some brands thrive and become leaders in their space, here you go. We've landed at an exciting part of our adventure on what are some of the characteristics of a successful authority brand. So what exactly sets these successful authority brands apart, you ask? Well, it boils down to 3 mega important characteristics, consistency, focus, and clear communication of your expertise and value.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:57]:
But let's not just skim the surface. Let's dive in and explore why these characteristics are key. First off, consistency. Imagine visiting your favorite coffee shop where the vibe is always welcoming, the coffee is consistently delicious, and you're greeted like an old friend. That's the power of consistency. It builds trust. And in the branding world, being reliable and consistent means your audience knows what to expect and can count on you to deliver every time. It's like that comfy blanket on a chilly night, always comforting.

Chareen Goodman [00:10:39]:
When it comes to building your authority brand, be consistent. Moving on to focus. Successful authority brands aren't trying to be all things to all people. Nope. They're more like expert archers, zeroing in on their target with precision. They know their niche inside and out and focus their time, energies, and efforts on serving that specific targeted audience. This laser focus helps them stand out in a crowded market and become the go to name within their niche. Think of getting focused like tuning into your favorite radio station and hearing exactly the kind of music you love, pure satisfaction.

Chareen Goodman [00:11:26]:
So when it comes to building your authority brand, focus, focus, and focus. And lastly, clearly communicate your expertise and value. This is huge, folks. Successful authority brands have a knack for clearly articulating what they excel at and how it benefits their audience. It's not just about shouting from the rooftops that they're the best. It's about showing your unique value in a way that resonates and connects your targeted audience. To wrap this up, successful authority brands resonate so well with their target audience because they're like a trusted friend, consistent and focused, and they communicate their worth in a way that's music to our ears. It's that magical combo that turns a brand from just another name into a beloved authority.

Chareen Goodman [00:12:25]:
So as you start to build your authority brand, remember these golden characteristics. They might just be the secret sauce you've been looking for to elevate on LinkedIn. Stay tuned for the final segment where we'll wrap things up. Hey. Hey. We've made it to the finale of today's episode of our new series, the LinkedIn Authority Blueprint for Coach and Consultants. But before we hit the pause button, let's take a quick moment to tie everything together. Your personal brand serves as the foundation of your professional identity.

Chareen Goodman [00:13:13]:
Reflecting your values, beliefs, and personality, it is the essence of who you are as an individual, shaping how others perceive you in the business world. On the other hand, your authority brand can be likened to a magnificent building that stands tall on this solid ground. It symbolizes your expertise, knowledge, and credibility in your field. And just like a well constructed building, your authority brand showcases your unique perspective and sets you apart from other coaches and consultants in your niche. Your authority brand is crucial as it establishes your reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable figure. It amplifies your voice and your, visibility amidst the crowd, making you a go to resource for guidance and advice. Through your authority brand, you demonstrate your specialized skills and valuable insights that distinguish you as a reputable coach or consultant. While your personal brand forms the basis of your professional identity, your authority brand propels you forward by showcasing your expertise and setting you apart as a leader in your field.

Chareen Goodman [00:14:36]:
Now before we part ways, I've got a mini homework assignment for you. Why not take a hot second right now to think about your own brand? Ask yourself, what am I truly great at as a coach or consultant? What do I stand for and want my ideal future clients to know? Grab a pen and start brainstorming.
Chareen Goodman [00:01:23]:
I'm Chareen Goodman, Business Coach and your host of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ podcast. As the founder of Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ and Crack the Consulting C.O.D.E.™ my mission is to illuminate the path for trailblazers like you. Today, we're setting sail towards uncharted territories with one clear objective, propelling you forward into a quarter, brimming with productivity and breakthroughs for unprecedented growth. But first, let's set the scene with a simple tale that may resonate with many of you. I want you to meet Sarah, a passionate and dedicated coach. She launched her coaching business with a dream of transforming lives, but soon found herself entangled in the complexities of the business world. With administrative tasks consuming her time, her coaching sessions were often rushed and lacked the level of engagement she desired to give her clients. Totally overwhelmed, frustrated, and headed for burnout, Sarah had to change or she would have become shipwrecked.

Chareen Goodman [00:02:35]:
How many of you have been in Sarah's shoes? Now you probably already sense that Sarah's story is not uncommon. Many of the coaches and consultants I work with find themselves in similar situations facing productivity, challenges, and struggles that prevent them from reaching their full potential and the results they want in their business. But this doesn't have to be the end of the story. You can turn the tide with the 5 productivity pillars I'll be sharing with you in today's podcast. Keep in mind that success isn't an accident. Success is, meticulously crafted through intentionality and strategic action, and that's precisely what we're unpacking today. The key strategies that will serve as pillars to maximize your momentum and to support the bridge between where you are now and where you aspire to be in the next 90 days. Whether you're struggling to find rhythm in your daily tasks or seeking ways to amplify your productivity game, this conversation is tailor made for you.

Chareen Goodman [00:03:48]:
So grab your favorite cup of coffee, get cozy, and let's dive in. Welcome to our first segment. In this segment, we're going to explore the first pillar for maximizing your momentum, and that is crafting your visionary roadmap for the next 90 days. As you can imagine, every successful journey begins with a map, even in the entrepreneurial world of coaching and consulting. This is your visionary road map, and it's not just any old map. It's a map that represents the ultimate destination of the big picture goals you've set to achieve this quarter in your business. Your map holds the details of the steps you'll take to get there. In other words, when it comes to achieving any goal or arriving at your destination, you must first know where you are heading.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:50]:
To craft this visionary road map, start by defining your destination. What does success look like for you at the end of this quarter? Be as specific as possible. Maybe it's increasing your client acquisition by 20% or or launching a new suite of digital products. So where are you heading? What is your destination? Once you've defined your destination, it's time to chart your course. Start by breaking down your major objective into smaller, more achievable steps. For instance, if your goal is to acquire 20 new clients in the next 90 days, then break the work down into a weekly or daily target. This will make your journey manageable and tangible. Next, mark your milestones.

Chareen Goodman [00:05:39]:
In my program, Milestone Magic™, the objective is for my clients to to never miss their milestone. Milestones are the magical markers along your path that signal that you are on target for hitting your goal. And when you hit them, don't forget to celebrate them. These small victories are encouraging signs that you're moving in the right direction. Your vision roadmap is more than a route planner. It is a compass guiding you towards your goal. Devise it with intention. Follow it with determination, and watch your business gain momentum.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:18]:
Okay. That wraps up our first discussion on crafting your Visionary Roadmap. We're moving on to our 2nd pillar and delving in to the art of prioritization and planning. So let's head over there now. In the hustle and bustle of our work, it can sometimes be challenging to know where to focus our energies. In this segment, we'll cover how prioritization and planning can prevent overwhelm and help to ensure steady progress towards larger goals. So let's dive in. In our bustling lives as coaches and consultants, would you agree that it can be challenging to know where to focus your energies? Prioritization is the art of recognizing what needs your immediate attention versus what can wait.

Chareen Goodman [00:07:16]:
One of the best ways to prioritize your work is to start by identifying your big rocks. You know, those projects that will have a significant impact and lead you to achieving your quarterly goals. No successful prioritization strategy is complete without the use of planning tools, whether you're more comfortable with digital apps like Asana or Trello, or you are more like me and prefer the more traditional method of using a simple Moleskin planner or diary. Use these tools religiously to keep track of your priorities. This approach will help to ensure your actions align nutshell, the key to propelling yourself into the next quarter with momentum lies in mastering the skill of prioritization. So identify your big rocks, break down your tasks, and use your planning tools to their fullest. This is your path to maximizing your momentum and achieving a productive and successful quarter. Now let's gear up for our 3rd pillar, mastering time management techniques.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:36]:
In the next segment, we will discuss how to make each moment count, how to track time spent on activities, implementing time blocking for deep work and breaks, and how to arrange tasks according to energy level. So let's get ready to take control of our most valuable resource, which is time. Welcome back, listeners, to segment 3 of our episode on maximizing your for the next 90 days. We're talking about productivity hacks that you can use to increase results in this quarter. In this segment, we're going to talk about our most valuable resource, which is time. Quick question. How many of you grapple with this common paradox of finding yourself short of time? Mastering your time or as I like to express it, mastering your integrity to time isn't about cramming in more coaching sessions or consulting projects, nor is it about squeezing more busy work into your day. The real game changer lies in making each minute count by keeping your integrity to doing what you say you're going to do when you say you're going to do it, hence, time integrity.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:55]:
Consider this scenario. You're a coach juggling back to back coaching sessions, email communication, content creation, and marketing your business, yet your progress doesn't seem proportionate to the effort you're investing. The reason, it's likely due to inaccuracies in the perceived duration of your tasks versus the actual time it takes you to complete the tasks. It's high time you embrace the strategy of auditing your time to better estimate how long it takes you to do certain tasks. Check into tools like Toggl or Rescue Time or even a basic spreadsheet to track the time it takes for you to complete each task. You'll soon ferret out any misconceptions about where your time is going and can start adjusting your schedule accordingly. Next, let's delve into time blocking, another effective time integrity strategy. The essence of this strategy lies in setting aside a dedicated block of uninterrupted time for deep committed work where focus is paramount.

Chareen Goodman [00:11:09]:
Picture a consultant working on a critical client project, which requires concentration and focus. Dedicating a block of time, say, every morning from 9 to 11 for deep work on the project can bring about extraordinary productivity and momentum. During these blocks of time, which should be planned and blocked on your calendar, close out all possible distractions by switching off your phone, shutting down your relevant browser tabs, and making it clear to your team, family, and friends that you're not available except for absolute emergencies. Finally, the last strategy is task rearrangement according to energy levels. We all have our peak and valley times during the day. Tackling high energy required tasks during peak times can lead to improved effectiveness. For instance, if you're a morning person, plan your most challenging client calls or brainstorming sessions in the first half of the day rather than trying to force productivity when you're tired and your momentum is low in the late afternoon. By keeping your integrity to time, putting smart time management strategies in place and being consistent with them, not only will your efficiency levels soar, but there's also an inherent satisfaction you'll gain by knowing each minute is propelling you closer to achieving your goals.

Chareen Goodman [00:12:45]:
That's a wrap on our 3rd pillar. Hopefully, you now have a new perspective on how you can optimize your most valuable resource called time By conducting a self audit, utilizing time blocking and arranging tasks according to your energy levels, you can dramatically improve your efficiency and your effectiveness. Remember, the goal isn't to squeeze more into each day, rather, it's making each moment count towards your goals. As we move on to our 4th pillar, building resilience through self care. We'll discuss the importance of setting boundaries, incorporating physical activity into your routine, and recognizing when enough work has been done for the day. After all, maintaining momentum isn't just about hard work, it's about smart work, which includes taking care of oneself. So let's explore the value of self care in the next segment. Welcome back to the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ podcast.

Chareen Goodman [00:14:00]:
I'm your host, Chareen Goodman. And in this segment, we're going to talk a bit about building resilience through self care. Have you ever noticed in the whirlwind of managing your business how easy it is to put your self care on the back burner? I think we do this too often, and I know I have been very guilty of this. But I think it's worth remembering that self care is not selfish. Self care is vital for sustaining momentum in business. Think of self care as that secret sauce that keeps you going strong without compromising your well-being or joy along the roller coaster journey of entrepreneurship. Here's the deal. Maintaining momentum doesn't just magically intentionally craft.

Chareen Goodman [00:14:55]:
And guess what? The key ingredient in this recipe is resilience. So, dear listeners, get ready to dive into some practical tips and tricks on how to build resilience to keep the momentum going. And the first one out the gate is setting boundaries as a form of self care. Boundaries in both our professional and personal lives are one of the most potent tools for resilience. For instance, consider the story of Sarah. Remember her? Sarah was always available to her clients, answering emails late into the night, taking calls during her family time, and dealing with work related problems over the weekends. Over time, her productivity declined, her health suffered, and her personal relationships were virtually done in. It was only when she began to set clear boundaries, like designated work hours, offline periods, and dedicated personal time did she regain her health, happiness, and her professional momentum.

Chareen Goodman [00:16:06]:
Don't be fooled. Boundaries aren't barriers to success. They're the foundations of your success. So get started by determining your boundaries and sticking to it. If you make it clear to your clients or team that you won't respond to emails after 6 PM, for example, or that your last coaching session ends at 5 PM. Then you're on the right track to preserving your personal time and teaching others to respect your boundaries. Let's now talk about the role physical activity plays when it comes to building resilience through self care. Physical activity isn't just about maintaining a healthy weight.

Chareen Goodman [00:16:54]:
It's intrinsically linked to our cognitive function and emotional well-being. I share so often with my clients that entrepreneurship is not for the faint at heart. You have to be strong in your mind to manage and build your business and deal with everything that comes with being an entrepreneur. And that's why physical activity outside your daily work activity is so important. So whether it's a brisk 30 minute walk or a low intensity yoga class, try to find a physical activity you enjoy and make it a part of your daily routine. Regular exercise will not only enhance your overall well-being, but can also boost your professional performance and momentum. I recommend blocking out dedicated days and times to make this aspect of self care happen. The last point we'll cover in this segment is to say when enough is enough and knowing when to call it a day.

Chareen Goodman [00:18:03]:
A healthy balance between your work and your personal life is crucial. Overworking ourselves and trying to eat the entire elephant in one bite quickly leads to burnout, which ultimately drains the energy reserves you need to maintain momentum over the long haul. If this is your regular routine, it's time to a new one for the new quarter. One thing you can do is to set regular office hours. Set a specific start and end time for your workday, and when it's quitting time, it's quitting time, after which you won't engage in any, work related activities. The trick is to stick by your office hours once you set them. This can help you avoid burnout and preserve the energy you need for sustained performance. The key here is to keep your integrity and honor your word and your time.

Chareen Goodman [00:19:01]:
As we conclude this segment, let's remind ourselves that self care isn't selfish. It's a vital element to ensure that the engine of your business, which is you, is running at its best. Make self care an essential part of your strategy for maintaining momentum without compromising your health or happiness throughout your entrepreneurial journey. Start setting healthy boundaries, get moving, and know when to call it a day. These simple yet powerful steps can propel you into a successful, healthy, and balanced new quarter. In our final segment, we're going to dive into the 5th pillar, leveraging technology for efficiency. So follow me over to the final segment, so we can explore how technology can become your strategic ally this quarter. In this segment, we're going to talk about something that is close to my heart, Leveraging Technology for Efficiency.

Chareen Goodman [00:20:14]:
We all know that technology can be a total game changer for us coaches and consultants. It not only helps us automate those mundane tasks, but also gives us the power to access information from anywhere, anytime. So in this segment, we'll be delving into a few actions that showcase just just how important it is to embrace technology in your business operations. From automating routine tasks to providing access to information anywhere, technology can dramatically enhance efficiency. Here are a few ways to incorporate technology into your business. 1, utilize automation tools. Start by automating repetitive administrative tasks. For example, consider investing in software like ChatGPT, noCRM, or Zoho, which can automate tasks, such as email marketing, data analysis, and customer relationship management.

Chareen Goodman [00:21:21]:
Tools like these not only reduce the burden on you and your team, but they also help to ensure accuracy and consistency in your business. 2, leverage the flexibility of cloud based solutions. Nowadays, accessibility from anywhere, anytime is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. Cloud based solutions offer incredible flexibility and make accessibility from anywhere at any time easy, which ensures that work continues smoothly even when you're on the go. Cloud based tools like Dropbox or Google Workspace are great options to easily access files and collaborate with others regardless of your location. 3. Use technology to stay ahead of the competition. Using tech tools effectively allows you to stay ahead of the competition by delivering quality service at an efficient pace.

Chareen Goodman [00:22:24]:
For example, coaches can use video coaching platforms like Zoom to provide remote services, expanding their client base globally, regularly review your tech stack to ensure that you are capitalizing on its full potential. Lastly, technology isn't simply about acquiring the latest tools and gadgets. It's about wise utilization that can exponentially magnify your operational capacities and productive capabilities. As a coach or consultant, I encourage you to embrace technological solutions as vital allies toward achieving greater efficiency. Start by utilizing automation tools. Automating repetitive admin tasks frees up substantive amounts of time that could be better spent engaging clients directly or strategizing the next moves. Then leverage flexibility via cloud based solutions. Accessibility from anywhere at any time means business continues smoothly even when on the go.

Chareen Goodman [00:23:33]:
Finally, remember that the wise utilization, not simply acquisition of tech tools, magnifies operational capacities exponentially, allowing you to stay ahead of the competition effortlessly by maximizing both both results and momentum. As we wrap up this segment, remember that embracing technology is not about purchasing the latest gadgets. It's really about leveraging the right tools to maximize your momentum, to enhance efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction in your coaching or consulting business. As always, my coaching to every one of you is to take action, implement what I've shared with you, and watch the positive impact that unfolds in your coaching or consulting business. As we complete our exploration of the 5 pillars for maximizing momentum, remember that the strategies to success are not mere productivity hacks. They are beacons guiding you toward realizing your full potential as a coach or consultant. Armed with these pillars, crafting your visionary roadmap, mastering the art of prioritization and planning, becoming adept at time management techniques, building resilience through self care and leveraging technology for efficiency. You're now set to transform your quarterly aspirations into remarkable outcomes.

You know, we end the year with the joy and frenzy of the holidays, and then we come into the new year trying to get back into the flow for the year ahead. So allow me for just a moment to paint a picture for you. The first quarter of a new year can be likened to the early mornings in your business. Just as your morning routine sets the tone for your day, the first quarter sets the pace for your entire year. It's an opportune time to lay a solid foundation, establish clear goals, and implement effective strategies that will undoubtedly shape the trajectory of your business in the months to come. And let me assure you, my dear listeners, that getting this crucial stage right can truly make all the difference between mediocrity and extraordinary success in your business this year. So make sure to grab your pen and notebook, and let's dive in. Shall we? Welcome to our 1st segment.

Chareen Goodman [00:03:50]:
Today on the podcast, let's paint a picture together. I want you to imagine the first quarter of the year as your blank canvas. Imagine Standing in front of a pristine white canvas. This canvas is your year ahead. What will you paint on it? Will it be bold with vibrant colors of growth and success? Or will it be more soft, filled with subtle cues of introspection, learning, and optimizing? For me, this past month has been more of the latter, but the choice is yours. You see, the first quarter offers us a fresh start, a new beginning. This first quarter time is more than just a few calendar pages. It's a symbol of new opportunities and a chance to set your course.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:58]:
It's a time filled with potential just waiting for your unique touch. Now I wanna share a quick story with you. Last year, I worked with a client. Let's call him Alex. Alex had a challenging previous year. Despite his best efforts, these didn't go the way that he expected. When we kicked off his personalized profit loves a plan coaching program in January of last year, Instead of rushing into action and tactics, I coached him to spend some time reflecting and vision setting. We looked at his successes, no matter how small, as well as his setbacks, no matter how big.

Chareen Goodman [00:04:54]:
It was like turning the pages of a book and understanding each chapter before starting a new one. This was a new, but still transformational experience for him. This reflection and vision setting process was eye opening for Alex. He realized that some of his, Quote, unquote, perceived failures were simply stepping stones on his entrepreneurial journey. There was a lesson in each experience he had, a hidden gem that helped him in setting more realistic and meaningful goals for the year. But he just didn't set goals. He set intentional goals full of meaning and purpose that were close to his heart and that were much more in alignment with what he wanted. By the end of first qurter, Alex had not only a plan, but a genuine vision for his business and his life.

Chareen Goodman [00:06:59]:
A vision painted with lessons from the past and aspirations for the future. And let me tell you, By the end of the year, Alex had achieved not just his business goals, but personal ones too. He turned his blank canvas into a masterpiece of growth and fulfillment. So what about you? Are you ready to pick up that brush and start painting your year's story? And what can we learn from Alex's story? For starters, the value of taking time to reflect is immeasurable. It's not just about patting ourselves on the back for what went well or dwelling on what didn't go as well. It's about gaining insights, understanding our entrepreneurial journey, and using that wisdom to set goals that Truly resonate with us. As we wrap up this segment, I encourage you to view the first quarter as a blank canvas. It's fresh, full of potential, and waiting for you to paint your year's masterpiece.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:21]:
Embrace this blank canvas with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. Remember, Each stroke of your brush, every goal you set, and every plan you make is a step towards creating Your Host extraordinary year. Stay tuned for our next segment, where we'll dive into how you can make the most of this planning phase. Until then, think about your canvas. What will you paint this year? Welcome back to the crack the coaching code pod where we're all about turning your coaching and consulting aspirations into a masterpiece of achievements for the year. In this segment, we're going to explore a critical aspect of your business journey, the art of planning and preparing. Now let's talk about that. As a project management consultant yep.

Chareen Goodman [00:09:29]:
That's a big value added service I bring to my clients ins because many lack the planning skills it takes to execute those big audacious goals. I often explain that planning and preparation are like mapping a road trip. You wouldn't just jump in your car and drive off without knowing your destination or how you're going to get there, would you? Planning in business is just the same. There's this stat that I love. Did you know that businesses with a plan are 30% more likely to grow? This isn't about overloading yourself with a lot of arbitrary goals. It's about setting goals that resonate with you and charting a clear path to reach them. Remember, your plan is your business road map for the year. The fundamental truth is that planning is the cornerstone of success, both in business and in life.

Chareen Goodman [00:08:17]:
Again, your plan is your roadmap. Sure. Wandering can be fun, But a map guides you to your destination more efficiently and effectively. In the dynamic world of coaching and consulting, where change is the only constant. A well thought out plan is your GPS. I use GPS to mean growth, profitability, and sustainability. Your GPS not only guides you, but also helps to quickly adapt when unexpected detours appear. Take Emily, a consultant, who approached her business without a concrete GPS plan.

Chareen Goodman [00:11:17]:
She was passionate, yes, but she was also like a ship without a rudder, drifting wherever the wind took her. After a few months, she felt overwhelmed, directionalist, and heading for burnout really fast in her business. When she enrolled in my profit love the plan program, We sat down and worked on a strategic plan that was personal to her and was in alignment with what she wanted to do with her Business. And oh, how the tables turned. With a clear plan, Emily was able to navigate her business with purpose and Confidence. Her story is a testament to how vital planning is. I want you to keep this in mind, that a well crafted plan is your road map to success. It navigates you through the complexities of business and life.

Chareen Goodman [00:11:13]:
So take the time to plan, prepare and position yourself on incredible journey ahead. Stay tuned as we move into our next segment, where we'll delve into the practical steps to secure your footing for this first quarter. Until then, Keep dreaming big, planning wisely, and preparing earnestly. Hello, my friends. We're back with our next segment of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ podcast. This segment is about the 6 steps you can take to secure your footing in the first quarter. Now you might be wondering, How do I create a plan that's not just a document gathering dust on a show, especially if you are not a planner or one who just really hates the land. Right? Well, stepping into the practical zone, here are 6 steps you can take To start to secure your footing for the year.

Chareen Goodman [00:13:26]:
Step 1, reflect on the past year. The first and perhaps most crucial step is reflection. Think of it as looking in the rearview mirror before celebrating forward. It's about understanding where you've been to better navigate where you're going. What worked for you? What didn't work for you? Take those lessons and channel them into your new plan.

Chareen Goodman [00:13:58]:
Step 2, set clear, intentional, and measurable goals. Now that you've done some reflection, it's time to set clear goals for the first quarter. Think smart. Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time bound. Setting clear and measurable goals is like aiming an arrow at a specific target. The more precise your target, The more likely you are to hit the mark.

Chareen Goodman [00:14:36]:
Step 3. You want to break your goals down into smaller manageable chunks. Think of it like eating a pizza. You don't eat it all in 1 bite. You enjoy it slice by slice.Similarly, Tackle your goals 1 step at a time. Break down your goals into smaller tasks and prioritize them based on importance in urgency. For example, if one of your goals is to revamp your website, Break it down into tasks like researching website design trends, hiring a web designer, and creating content for each web page. Step 4, prioritize and plan. Once your goals are set, prioritizing and planning come into play. Prioritizing and planning are key steps in achieving your goals effectively. When it comes to prioritizing, it's important to assess the urgency and importance of each task. Some tasks may have strict deadlines or require immediate attention, while others may be more flexible.

Chareen Goodman [00:16:00]:
It's up to you to figure out what's the priority. By understanding the urgency, you can determine which task Needs to be Completed 1st. Additionally, consider the impact of each task. Some tasks may have a greater impact on your overall goal more so than others. Identifying these high impact tasks allow you to Allocate your time and resources much more effectively. Step 5, Create a timeline. That means create a timeline for your goals and a schedule for yourself daily, weekly and monthly to keep yourself on track and so that you know exactly what needs to get done and by when. Organize your tasks in a logical order and assign deadlines to each one of them.

Chareen Goodman [00:17:01]:
This helps you stay on track and ensures that you are making progress towards your goals. Consider using productivity tools or project management software like Asana or Trello to help you stay organized, track your progress, and meet your deadlines. The structured approach will keep you focused and productive throughout the year. And step 6, regularly review and adjust. Regularly review and adjust your plan as needed. This is what I like to term course correction. Just because you left the station doesn't mean that everything is gonna work out perfectly. There will be times to course correct.

Chareen Goodman [00:15:56]:
The business world is ever changing. Circumstances may change, and new priorities may arise, so be ready to pivot when needed. Stay flexible and adapt your plan accordingly to keep yourself focused and aligned with your goals. This flexibility and adaptability can make all the difference in the dynamic world of coaching and consulting and can save you a lot of frustration and headache. So regularly review your progress, and don't hesitate to tweak your plan when it's necessary to hit your goal. Think course correction.

Chareen Goodman [00:18:28]:
As we conclude this segment, I encourage you to embrace these steps wholeheartedly. You have got to put them into action. Reflect on your journey. Set clear goals, prioritize your actions, and be ready to adjust as you go along. It's time to get practical and create an action plan that lays a foundation so strong that the rest of your year can unfold with boldness, confidence, and clarity.
