Creamy Hot Wheat Cereal pt. 2 (feat. Andy Malafarina)
Every now and then I remember hot cereals like Farina, Cream of Wheat, and Malt-O-Meal exist and I think, “Huh, I ain’t had that in a while.” I get all excited and go to the store to buy box. I get home with my box of hot cereal and cook me up a pot making sure to add a little bit of sugar even though the directions on the box don’t say to add sugar. The directions only mention water or milk, and butter, but I don’t see how you’d be able to eat the stuff without it being at least a tad bit sweet. Once the creamy hot wheat cereal is done cooking I scoop it into a bowl and while I’m eating it I think to myself, “Man, this stuff is good, why don’t I eat this more often?” Once I’m done eating it I rinse my bowl out and do the same with the pot now that it has cooled down. The box the creamy hot wheat cereal comes in doesn’t actually close after it has been opened, there’s just this at the top corner on the side, so I put the box in a big ziploc bag and put it in the pantry where I notice the box of creamy hot wheat cereal in a ziploc bag I already had that I bought months prior, cooked a pot of, stored in the pantry, and forgotten about until now. Looks like I already had a box of creamy hot wheat cereal and there was no need to go buy a new box when I got a sudden hankering for the stuff. With the price of food the way it is these days ain’t no sense buying food I already have that ain’t even expired yet. Oh well, I guess now I have two boxes of creamy hot wheat cereal. It is really tasty and I don’t know why I don’t eat more since I like it so much. I just hope the next time I get a craving for it I remember I already got two boxes in the pantry so I don’t go out and unnecessarily buy a new box. Andy Malafarina is on the show.
