Dr. Karimbux received his DMD and Master of Medical Sciences from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. As well as serving as Dean, Dr. Karimbux is a professor in the Department of Periodontology at Tufts. He has held several editorial positions in journals like the Journal of Dental Education and the Journal of Periodontology, and is the recipient of various prestigious awards, including the Periodontal Educator Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and the Presidential Citation from the American Dental Education Association in 2010.
