Welcome to Ag Law in the Field! This is the inaugural episode of a new podcast designed to discuss all things agricultural law. Tiffany Lashmet, Extension Ag Law Specialist with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, will serve as your host and has a variety of great guests lined up. It is not that common to have an agricultural law case at the United States Supreme Court, but this term, Monsanto v. Durnell was argued, and in June, the Justices issued their decision on the important questions of whether FIFRA's labeling requirements preempts state law failure-to-warn claims.
