WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2026 Some increase in precipitation continues to be suggested for the central and eastern United States in early April The high Plains region does not look very good for getting significant moisture, through a few showers are will be possible West and South Texas may also have some potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms in early April Southwestern Canada’s Prairies drought has increased recently raising more concern about the medium range weather outlook for spring planting Argentina is still expecting waves of rain in the coming week to maintain adequate to surplus soil moisture Southern Brazil rain potentials are still good for Rio Grande do Sul while dryness relief in Parana and neighboring states may not take place until the last days in March and early April Alternating periods of rain and sunshine are likely in center west and northern center south Brazil during the next two weeks Other areas in the World are not advertised to see much change China’s rain will be greatest in the Yangtze River Basin Eastern Australia should stay mostly dry and warm, despite a few showers Europe will be dry biased into early next week and then some rain will evolve in the central and east later next week into early April Flood potentials remain high for the Middle East from southeastern Turkey through Syria and northern and eastern Iraq to western Iran in the coming week India will continue to experience seasonable temperatures and a few showers of limited significance except in the far north and extreme east where greater rain is likely The former Soviet Union will experience limited rainfall and warm conditions that promote melting snow north of Ukraine Some increase in rainfall is expected in early April South Africa, West Africa, Indonesia and Malaysia will see periodic showers and thunderstorms alternating with periods of sunshine during the next ten days   World Weather, Inc. forecasts and comments pertaining to present, past and future weather conditions included in this report constitute the corporation's judgment as of the date of this report and are subject to change without notice. World Weather Highlights For Thursday, March 19, 2026 Southwestern Buenos Aires is advertised to get a little less rain in the coming week Rio Grande do Sul is advertised wetter than in previous days this week with the period Saturday into Monday wettest Central Argentina is still slated to receive some moderate to heavy rain Friday through the weekend with 2.00 to more than 5.00 inches possible Not much change was suggested for interior southern Brazil where rainfall will be restricted over the next ten days Areas from Mato Grosso to Minas Gerais and northern Sao Paulo, Brazil are still advertised to see alternating periods of rain and sunshine over the next ten days U.S. hard red winter wheat areas will remain dry for another ten days with very warm to hot temperatures today into Saturday and again briefly during mid-week next week Some increase in rainfall was suggested in the model data today after day ten from the southeastern U.S. Great Plains into the Midwest and Delta  Not much change in the rest of the world, including; limited rain in Europe during this first week of the outlook warm with limited precipitation in the FSU supporting new snow melt China's Yangtze River Basin will be wettest over the next couple of weeks rain is needed in far southern China's rice and corn areas East-central Australia will get a few showers and thunderstorms, though no general soaking of rain South Africa is expected to trend wetter over te coming week West-central Africa and Southeast Asia rainfall will be erratically dispersed

WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR JANUARY 29, 2026 Southeastern Australia’s heatwave will be extended into Saturday making it a full week of excessive heat and stress to livestock and crops High temperatures Wednesday were 111 to 120 degrees once again with an extreme of 122 Production impacts on crops has likely been substantial – especially unirrigated crops in New South Wales and southern Queensland Livestock weight gains have probably been poor with some animal illness suspected Power outages have been recorded and some brush fires have evolved Model precipitation forecasts through early next week have been reduced in parts of the east, but rain increases later in the week for some areas Another shot of bitter cold is expected in the eastern half of the United States over the next five days Freezes were noted again today in Louisiana sugarcane areas and in central Florida, although they were light freezes Saturday and Sunday will be colder in Louisiana with lows in the teens and lower 20s to the Gulf Coast Sunday and Monday will be coldest in Florida Citrus damage potentials may be highest for Monday when the wind speed is light and variable Sunday will be windy in Florida, though some freezes are likely Energy demand will be high until Tuesday when some temporary relief is expected Additional bouts of cool air will impact the northern Plains, Great Lakes region ad northeastern United States during the February 8-13 period; though, temperatures will not be as cold as those of this weekend and early next week Western Asia and northeastern Europe will be quite cold over the next week to ten days; though, snow cover will protect crops No changes were noted in South America over the next ten days Limited rainfall is likely to prevail in eastern Argentina, Uruguay and western and southern Rio Grande do Sul through the first week in February Moderate to heavy rain may impact Mato Grosso do Sul, Goias, Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais during the coming ten days slowing the harvest of early soybeans and the planting of Safrinha crops China’s Yangtze River Basin will receive some precipitation in the next week to ten days, although amounts will be light This is not a problem while temperatures are mild to cool; though, greater rain will be needed later in February Wheat and rapeseed are rated favorably Western Russia snowfall will be significant through Sunday in the Volga River Basin and Ural Mountains followed by improved weather for a little while More snow will be possible in the second week of February India and Pakistan precipitation will be more limited for a while

WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR JULY 18, 2025 Cold air in the far eastern Russia New Lands early next week may result in some frost in sunseed and spring wheat production areas Southern China may be impacted by a tropical cyclone this weekend with heavy rain, local flooding and some strong wind speeds likely in Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan There is some potential for the storm to also impact northern Vietnam early next week East-central China will not get much rain through the coming week and some drying and rising crop stress is possible in pockets, but no widespread production threat is expected NOT MUCH CHANGE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WORLD Some needed rain will fall in Western Europe this weekend and early next week offering some relief to dryness in parts of France, the U.K., Germany, Belgium and Netherlands, although more rain will still be needed Dryness will remain in the lower Danube River Basin Not much rain from eastern Ukraine into Kazakhstan during the next two weeks which may lead to unirrigated summer crop stress, but winter crop harvesting will advance well Dry weather has been occurring and will continue for at least another week in western Indonesia and the Malay Peninsula Some drying is normal at this time of year and showers may return in the last days of July for parts of the region Central Thailand rainfall may continue lighter than usual as it has been recently and greater rain will soon be needed for rice, sugarcane and other crops North America weather has not changed much overnight Very warm to hot temperatures are likely in the central and southern Plains, Delta, lower Midwest and interior southeastern states during the period from this weekend through the end of next week Heat indices of 95 to 115 are likely with the central and southern Plains and Delta hottest stressing livestock and some crops A westward shift in the heat and dryness is likely in the last days of July heating up most of the far western United States and allowing some cooling and rainfall back into the lower Midwest and southeastern states Northern and eastern Midwest crop areas will be sufficiently moist to carry on normal crop development during the next two weeks Some net drying is likely in the Delta portions of Missouri and eastern Kansas Canada’s Prairies will be wettest in central and western Alberta and northwestern into south-central parts of Saskatchewan in the coming ten days while the northeastern part of the Prairies is drier biased Some rain will fall in southern Manitoba as well Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas heat and drying will expedite late wheat harvesting, but stress livestock and some unirrigated summer crops West Texas and the Texas Panhandle will get a few showers and thunderstorms briefly next week S. Pacific Northwest will continue warm and dry biased for the next two weeks Argentina rainfall will be restricted for a while Southern Brazil will trend wetter from the middle of next week into late month Safrinha crop harvesting in Brazil should advance well during the next ten days with little to no rain outside of Paraguay and Parana India rainfall will be abundant and frequent except in parts of Gujarat, central Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu where more limited rainfall is likely Australia rainfall will continue greatest in coastal areas for the next ten days

WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR JULY 17, 2025 No general theme changes were noted overnight Slightly less rain was advertised for the eastern Canada Prairies, although scattered showers and thunderstorms are still possible West Texas is a little wetter for next week than advertised Wednesday Most of the U.S. Midwest will get rain in the coming week High pressure ridge building over the U.S. mid-south region next week will induce some excessive heat and humidity stressing livestock and crops with rapid drying conditions over a few days The high pressure ridge is then expected to shift to the west into the Rocky Mountain region and high Plains by the last days of July The westward shift into the high pressure ridge will allow rain to continue falling periodically in the Midwest and temperatures will be seasonably warm, but not oppressively hot The greatest heat in North America is expected in the west during the last week of July 17, 2025 Drought will continue in the northwestern United States Portions of the U.S. Delta, interior southeastern states and the southern Plains will dry down over the next two weeks Western and central Alberta, Canada will be wetter than usual during the coming ten days Week two weather in the U.S. Midwest may be marked by strong to severe thunderstorm clusters moving from northwest to southeast across the region A tropical cyclone is developing east of the Philippines today and will move toward southern China and possibly northern Vietnam over the coming week after brushing the northeast coast of Luzon Island, Philippines Friday Not much change in Asia with areas from eastern Ukraine into Kazakhstan experiencing limited rain and warm temperatures China’s dry region in east-central parts of the nation will get some relief this weekend into next week while other areas see a good mix of rain and sunshine Western Europe will have waves of rain this weekend into next week that should bring drought relief to parts of France, the U.K. and Germany Portions of France and the lower Danube River Basin will remain drier than usual and in need of greater rain Argentina rainfall will be restricted for a while Southern Brazil will trend wetter periodically over the next two weeks Safrinha crop harvesting in Brazil should advance well with little to no rain outside of Paraguay and Parana India rainfall will be abundant and frequent except in parts of Gujarat, central Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu where more limited rainfall is likely Indonesia and Malaysia rainfall is expected to be restricted during the next week to ten days allowing for greater drying to evolve Thailand should get some needed rain
