Stay in the game.I often use sport analogies in my work because I believe that successful entrepreneurs/business people and professional athletes are the same people. They share the same intensity, desire for excellence and most importantly: they stay in the game. Regardless if they win or lose big, they keep going. In this video, I’m doing a drill called “the butterfly”. The goal is to maintain high intensity as long as possible while hitting specific targets. I love this drill because it’s not about hitting the prettiest shot every time but more about improving yourself shot after shot. There’s always another shot to play in tennis. The same applies for business. Go out there, face the market, give your all, analyze what you did right and what you need to improve and go again. Rinse and repeat. Are you ready for the new year? Let’s stay in the game together in 2024!My name is Jennifer Migan, I am a bilingual public speaking and leadership expert and the host of The Speech House Podcast. I use my expertise as a media/communication specialist and my experience as a former professional tennis player to help entrepreneurs and executives master their public speaking and communication skills so they can increase their visibility and business opportunities. One of the main goals of The Speech House Podcast is to help people improve their public speaking skills and as a result become better communicators and leaders.Follow and subscribe to The Speech House Podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify and on Instagram @thespeechhousepodcast!
