So, a robotic arm on a factory line needs to be able to recognize in a millisecond that this object is whatever it is, then move it to a different object.”Robotics is hardly the only industry being transformed by the use of rugged edge computing. Digital transformations also are taking place in the autonomous vehicle space, especially in commercial fleets, and Premio even has a client utilizing the quick-response computing power in surface and underground mining equipment.
