These women navigate without GPS, tackling true hard obstacles and trails, and they have some amazing stories to share.Lisa got into off-roading after her husband retired and bought a Jeep. She quickly caught the off-roading bug and now drives a highly modified 2018 JLU Sport. Katie, on the other hand, was inspired by her partner and quickly found a teammate in Lisa. Together, they formed Team Wild Marens and have been competing in the Rebelle Rally, which zigzags between California and Nevada.We discussed the importance of communication, patience, and inner strength in their competitions. This route is the most fun and scenic way to get to the Expo, featuring water crossings, old bridges, mines, and more.We discussed the evolution of the route from its predecessor, the S'more to Moore, and how we've expanded and improved it. With the help of Ryan McAllister, who has an extensive knowledge of the Midwest's backroads, we've meticulously mapped out these routes using a combination of Google Maps, satellite images, and historic maps.One of the highlights of the episode was our discussion about the rally book, which participants will receive upon registration. This book includes turn-by-turn directions, coordinates, and a list of campsites along the way.
