About the show

My name is Julie, and I've been a worship leader for over 20 years. In the last 7 years, I took the lead in rebuilding the culture and structure of my hometown worship team. By embracing this process, I learned how to guide my team through huge change, resulting in a thriving team that tripled in size, expanded from one service to three services weekly, and even created and released our own music. If you are called to lead worship and know you have what it takes but can't seem to get your team to join you, I'm here to help.

#16 Spring Cleaning Your Worship Team Pt. 2: The Song Database

In this episode Julie talks about going through your song database: you do not owe it to anyone to keep a historical database of every song you have ever led. Keep it lean and clean by only having your current songs and let the internet store the rest. It will be there when you are ready to dig for some throwback songs! A simplified database makes decision making easier when planning. I also mention in the intro that we have a new puppy in the Englerth house! Her name is Scout, she's a 9 week old Springer Spaniel and she is so darling! As always, you can follow and review on your streaming platform, and I'd also love it if you'd follow me on instagram @thehealthyworshipteam or email me: thehealthyworshipteam@gmail.com. See you soon!If this was helpful, please subscribe wherever you stream, and you can email us with any questions or comments at thehealthyworshipteam@gmail.com.

#13 Unhealthy Mindsets of a Worship Leader Pt. 3: It's Good Enough... Who cares?

In this episode Julie talks about the attitude shift we as leaders must make before holding our team to a higher standard of excellence. It's too easy to think that because we are the family of God, manners don't matter, and that people "know my heart," which is code for "I didn't put any thought into this before I brought it to you. If this episode was helpful for you, make sure to follow along on your streaming platform and if you have questions or would like to hear in put on a particular subject, feel free to email me at thehealthyworshipteam@gmail.com. If this was helpful, please subscribe wherever you stream, and you can email us with any questions or comments at thehealthyworshipteam@gmail.com.
