About the show

Join Nicholas Toko, Anne-Liis Lääne-Sáez, and James Johnston as they talk about the use of the Gifts Compass Inventory (GCI) and the many important applications of psychological types. The well validated and broadly acclaimed GCI offers a fresh approach to Swiss psychologist Carl Jung’s original eight psychological types. The GCI focuses on the personal growth and development of unique individuals. We are passionate about type, and our aim is to help you understand type, how to use type to better understand yourself, to have better relationships at home, in a social setting, or in the workplace.

The Four Archetypes: Magician, Sovereign, Warrior, Lover.

In the Gifts Compass Inventory (GCI), the four archetypes—often referred to as Archetypal Headings or Orientations—are based on Carl Jung's original eight psychological types. They map human dispositions into four quadrants: Magician (Thinking/Intuition), Sovereign (Feeling), Warrior (Sensation/Thinking), and Lover (Feeling/Intuition).   In this podcast Marcin, Anne-Liis and Nick take a look at the four archetypes, reflecting on their own preferences and how the archetypes play out in the inner and outer world.
