I'm scared - and how I'm working with it

Lately, I've been scared. Not scared of the world. Not scared of taking risks. Not even scared of hard work. I've been scared of hearing "no." After a season of pushing, advocating, creating and putting myself out there, I realised my heart was feeling a little tender. And when we're carrying disappointment, rejection or exhaustion, even simple asks can start to feel overwhelming. In this episode, I share what I've been noticing in myself, the fear of asking, why I was retreating instead of reaching out, and the mindset shifts helping me move forward. I also talk about the concept of 100 No's, Shoot Your Shot Wednesday, and how building resilience isn't about becoming fearless. It's about continuing to show up, even when you're scared. And also - learning my own message again of sometimes we have to REST in order to RECEIVE. Rest is also a strategy. These things can all work in together. If you've been holding back, avoiding the ask, or feeling vulnerable after a difficult season, this episode is for you.

Six Figures in Sales with Kate Toon

Who would like six figures in sales right now? Yes please! This week our guest Kate Toon shares everything she knows about sales, and many more wonderful business (and life) insights. So many business owners are brilliant at showing up online and creating content, but when it comes to actually asking for the sale, they freeze. That's where Kate Toon's latest book, Six Figures in Sales, can help. We explore why so many entrepreneurs struggle with selling, how retail has changed Kate's perspective on customer relationships, and the biggest mistakes business owners make when trying to grow revenue. As always, our conversation went on many wonderful tangents as we discussed how we're evolving as entrepenurs. And yes, we are using the word "evolve" over "pivot". If you've ever felt uncomfortable promoting yourself, worried about hearing "no," or wondered why your visibility isn't translating into sales, this episode is packed with practical wisdom and refreshing honesty to help you build your confidence and ask for that sale!

Consultant: Identity Shift

Who am I now? And what do I actually want to be known for? Existential crisis incoming! Jokes! But I am sharing from a place of processing and letting you in behind the scenes as I'm in transition. And I hope, if you're in the same messy middle - this finds you and you feel very, very seen (or heard, it's a podcast after all!) I’m sharing the identity shift I’ve been moving through, from calling myself a coach to embracing the word consultant, and why that change feels deeply aligned with the work I’m doing today. I talk about the evolution of my personal brand, how I’ve gone from running Lovelly Communications to becoming The Bleisure Coach, and now focusing in on the Retreats side of my business in a consulting capacity, which all contributes to my bleisure life. Also, as you can see, why being multi-passionate can sometimes make it harder for people to describe what you do. This episode was sparked by a powerful realisation during one of my retreats in India, a conversation with my own mentor, and a simple social media question asking people: “How would you describe what I do?” The answers were beautiful, surprising, emotional, and incredibly revealing. If you’ve ever felt like you’re evolving beyond your current title, this episode is for you.

Wellness Travel with Neil Sullivan

We hear the word wellness everywhere right now. Saunas. Ice baths. Supplements. Morning routines. But what if we’ve overcomplicated it? In this episode, I sit down with Neil O’Sullivan, founder of Nimbus Co, to unpack what wellness really looks like. Beyond the trends, the aesthetics, and the pressure to “get it right.” What does wellness mean to you? We talk about mental health, burnout, building a business, and why chasing the perfect routine might actually be the thing that's continuing the burnout. This is a grounded, honest conversation about what it actually means to feel well, in your body, your mind, and your life. We also explore the huge rise in wellness travel and how that impacts not only the retreat industry, but how local businesses can bring the feeling of wellness travel to home. Because wellbeing isn’t something you achieve. Being well is.

Mexico ... experience vs reality

Mexico ... experience vs reality Mexico has held a special place in my heart since I first lived there in 2009, and returning six years after our cenote wedding felt emotional, surreal, beautiful… and honestly, more confronting than I expected. In this episode, I’m sharing the real story behind our return to Mexico in April 2026 with our five-year-old son: recreating our underwater wedding photo shoot, speaking Spanish and reflecting on how I learnt to 17 years, navigating travel exhaustion, dealing with chaotic travel moments, and rediscovering what I truly love about Mexico. This isn’t just about travel. It’s about identity, purpose, expectations versus reality, slowing down, reconnecting to culture and nature, and creating a Bleisure Life that actually feels aligned. I also share why this trip confirmed something big for me: I'm finally ready to host a retreat in Mexico! If you’ve ever romanticised a place, questioned whether travel still feels the same, or wondered what it really looks like to blend business, travel and life, this episode is for you.

Manifesting a bleisure life with Isabel Chen

What happens when you combine strategy, creativity, and the courage to actually take action? In this episode, I’m joined by Isabel Chen , founder of Fairy Fox Digital and someone I’ve had the joy of working with through my retreats and watching grow over the past few years. Isabel shares her journey from working as a biochemist to building a content marketing business that helps founders turn podcasts, blogs, and videos into powerful, strategic content (without sounding robotic). But this isn’t just about business. We talk about: - Taking action (instead of just learning) - The power of retreats and creating space - Celebrating small wins (and why it changes everything) - Manifestation, mindset, and writing your future into reality - Why repurposing content is more than just copy-paste And honestly? This episode is a reminder that growth doesn’t come from doing more… it comes from choosing your own path and focusing on it, that’s the power of attraction, desire and turning your dreams into reality.

Travel Reminders & lessons from Colombia 🇨🇴

Recording this episode from Bogotá airport (with less-than-perfect audio but very real travel energy), I’m sharing what it actually looks like to live a Bleisure lifestyle on the move. This wasn’t a “perfectly planned” trip. It’s had surprises, ups and downs. And as always full of lessons I didn’t expect. From navigating altitude sickness in one of the world’s highest capital cities, to making last-minute travel decisions based on “travel maths,” to being welcomed by the family of a friend in Colombia… this episode is a reminder that travel isn’t just about destinations, it’s the gift it gives - of perspectives and lessons. I also share what it’s like traveling as a family across multiple continents, thinking in two languages, and why sometimes… you really should just look at a map first 🤣🤦‍♀️. If you’ve ever wondered what multi-country, multi-continent travel actually feels like in real life, this is it. This is my #bleisurelife - and I can’t wait to see you design yours

Emodied intuition with Stacey Webb

We’re often told to trust logic. To follow what makes sense. To do what we’re “supposed” to do. But what happens when your body is telling you something different? In this episode, I sit down with intuitive somatic mentor and author Stacey Webb to explore what it really means to trust your intuition and why so many of us have lost connection to it. We talk about nervous system safety, conditioning, people-pleasing, and the journey of coming back to yourself. This is an honest, grounded conversation about learning to listen, not just to your mind, but to your body, your feelings, and your inner knowing. Also make sure to check out Stacey’s latest book - Embodied Grace, it just hit #1 on Amazon!

A Life of Magic at 103 with Bill Hunter

An episode 103 years in the making. Many of my audience have asked for this very special episode, and now here it is. I’m sitting down with my cousin Bill, a 103-year-old World War II Navy veteran, magician, and now published author. Together, we’ve just released his book A Life of Magic, capturing over a century of stories, moments, and memories. From learning magic in a hospital bed during the WWII in Sydney, Australia… to performing for five decades at the Indy 500… to the countless lives he’s touched along the way… This conversation is a glimpse into a life that’s been anything but ordinary. But more than that, it’s a reminder of the power of storytelling, connection, and taking the time to capture the moments that matter. His is truly A Life of Magic. And it's my honour to share his story, and this special behind the scenes look at how we brought his book to life.

From Yoga Teacher to Retreat Host with Georgina Eve

Retreats can look effortless from the outside. Beautiful locations. Flowing schedules. Transformation happening in real time. But behind every retreat… is a decision. A risk. And a whole lot of trust. In this episode, I sit down with yoga teacher and retreat host Georgina Eve to talk about what it really takes to create retreats that people come back to year after year. We talk about starting before you feel ready, backing yourself, and why retreats are so much more than just a “business offering.” From running local weekend retreats… to selling out international retreats in 24 hours… to now hosting her first retreat in India, this is an honest, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring these experiences to life. Retreats are in my opinion, the ultimate form of bleisure - business, travel and self care. And Georgina shows how she's making it work for her. If you’ve ever thought about running a retreat, or you’re already doing it, this conversation will land.
