How do we bring power in empathy? Empathy is a skill that embraces all people and perspectives. Can you imagine being in a meeting with someone who can empathize with you? The empathetic listener activates the cingulate cortex in our brain. What does empathy not mean? It does mean shouldering someone's luggage.
