Hadija's Story

Hadija Abdul-Majeed is a youth advocate from Ghana with a particular passion for female education. Over the past few years, Hadija has mentored several young girls who've experienced difficulties in accessing education and advancement in life. One of these girls is Amina, a girl from northern Ghana, who had to sell on the streets to fund for her education. Throughout Amina's difficulties, Hadija, her mentor, was there to provide support and encouragement, and today, Amina is half way through her university education. Memory's Story

In April 2025, she joined other activists in Zambia to lead the largest peace march in the country's history against child sexual abuse - a scourge that has almost become commonplace. Timothy's Story

In this episode, Timothy, a student residing in the central Nigerian city of Ilorin takes us on a journey into the lives of street kids whose disadvantaged backgrounds have denied them the opportunity of an education.
