Gareth - Animal Keeper with Bristol Zoo Project

Imagine bonding with Gorillas and getting to care for them every day of your working life.Well stop dreaming and do what Gareth Davies did and realise a childhood ambition to be an Animal Keeper. He recently took a trip to Frankfurt Zoo in Germany to get further insight and learning around their mixed-species habitat. Critically endangered western lowland gorillas and endangered cherry-crowned mangabeys live together and it's helped to shape the African Forest habitat project in Bristol.Gareth is a key part of that and his stories about the connection to their animals and the care and nurturing he is vital to is amazing.Have a listen to his careers story ( you'll love the story about the Gelada.
