369 - Liked vs Respected Blueprint

One of the most important lessons in business, leadership, relationships and life is understanding the difference between being liked and being respected. Some people spend their lives trying to keep everyone happy, only to find themselves overlooked, undervalued and taken for granted. Others command respect through high standards, discipline and results, but struggle to build genuine connection and trust. In this episode, I explore the three profiles we all recognise: the person who is liked but not respected, the person who is respected but not always liked, and the rare individual who manages to be both. We'll look at why most people naturally gravitate towards one end of the spectrum, the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, and how developing the missing skill set can transform your influence, relationships and leadership. 368 - Hall of Fame Podcast: Umesh Kalra

In this Hall of Fame episode of The Blueprint Podcast, we sit down with Umesh Kalra to unpack one of the fastest deals ever secured inside the Property Entrepreneur community. During an online War Room with Daniel Hill, Umesh gave a simple brief: Find me a deal. Up to £500k cash. Pull all my money back out. Cashflow positively. Within minutes, they found it live in the room - a block of five apartments on Rightmove. That was Thursday at noon. By Friday at 16:29, contracts had been exchanged. A deal sourced, assessed, funded and secured in just 28 hours. But this story is about far more than one deal. When Umesh joined Property Entrepreneur in 2022, he had already founded Moneyrow Properties. He had a product and a brand, but he didn't yet have the Blueprint for how to build and scale it. In this episode, Umesh shares the hurdles he had to overcome, from finding the right market strategy and building the right team, to surrounding himself with the right peer group and learning how to create a more balanced Life by Design. 366 - My Dad Died - Three-year anniversary

Three years on from losing my dad, I found myself reflecting on that period of life looking through photos, revisiting notes on my phone, and thinking about the moments surrounding his illness, passing, funeral, and wake. This episode isn't a memoir or a full overview of his life. It's simply a personal reflection on a difficult chapter, the lessons that came from that time 3 years ago, and a few perspectives that have stayed with me ever since.
