All leads are not the same. You’ve got hot leads, warm leads, and cold leads. But you have to treat each segment of leads differently. A cold lead is somebody who is new to your page, or just found out about you, and is on your page to learn more about you and the service you provide. She is curious and cautious, and not ready to book yet. Warm leads are people who’ve probably been following you for a minute or they heard about you from a friend. She’ll be excited to be chatting with you and might say something like: I heard this… or I’ve been following you… or something like that. She’s been thinking about getting her hair done or nails done, or brows done, but right now she’s in the market research phase. She’s not quite ready to book, but she is willing to book with the “right” provider. This is your opportunity to stand out from the herd. A hot lead is someone who is actively looking to get her hair nails brows done in the next two weeks. Hot leads have already peeped the market and know what they so cut to the chase lock her appointment down and collect her deposit. Then make sure her client experience is top tier… so you can get her testimonial and referrals. Get out of your head girl and into the game, girl!! Today’s episode is all about how to stop thinking so much and start doing. Your thoughts can hold you hostage to literally stop you from doing what needs to get done. How do you bridge the gap from over thinking to actually doing and getting shit done? By developing a GET SHIT DONE mindset. But here’s a secret no one will tell you… You will NEVER silence your inner troll. You know that chick who lives rent free in your head who analyses every thought, or idea that pops into our brain. And the argument in our head sounds well thought-out and convincing. Your inner troll is usually negative AF who tends to “what-if” every single idea until you talk yourself out of doing it. And over time this messes with your confidence, and it becomes a brutal feedback loop where you’re always second-guessing yourself. I want to help you replace your tendency to over think things with the habit taking action…getting the task done…then checking it off your “GSD” (Get Shit Done) List. That is why the first thing you MUST do before you buy those self-help books, buy your journals, and start designing you vision board for 2024... Figure out your "WHY." What do you want and WHY does it matter? Spend that “quality time” alone to poke around in the dark corners of your psyche and exorcise your inner demons. Identify old failures, frustrations, unfulfilled goals, unfulfilled dreams and why lil’ Jimmy made you cry in the fourth grade. You know all of the stuff that has happened in your life to make you who you are today. You see, everyone writes down their goals when they first start out ( I want a Mercedes Benz in 9-months, etc.). But, having a solid reason “WHY” will keep you going through the thunderstorms, earthquakes, hurricanes, the worst disaster of them all⎯the criticism of a “friend or family” member. So, “How motivated are YOU!?” What motivates you to get off the couch? What gets you to turn off the TV? What would motivate you to pick up the phone and call someone that asked for more information about your business? Listen to me. Listen to me. Listen to ME!!! This is critical. You need a strong, written “WHY”, to stick around long enough to be successful in this business. ENJOY!!!
