Jeremy Clodfelder knew from a young age that he wanted to be a coach! He currently is the Head Football Coach at Paris High School. His path has included being a part of Ron Zook's staff at the University of Illinois. He has also had the opportunity to work with some of the best high school coaches in the state. Mike Scully: University of Illinois Football, PGA Professional, Podcaster

On Wednesday I will sit down on my podcast,  "Tea or Coffee w/ Andrew Turner" with a former fraternity brother Michael Scully! Michael was my Pledge Dad at Beta Theta Pi Fraternity at the University of Illinois! Michael played football for the University of Illinois where he was a part of the 1983 Big Ten Champions and served as Co-Captain for the 1987 team. Mike went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Redskins in the NFL. After football, Mike made a transition into the golf industry, serving in leadership roles at prestigious clubs such as Medinah Country Club and Reynolds Lake Oconee. Mike was named the Illinois PGA Head Professional of he Year in 2008. Currently, Mike resides in Florida and hosts a podcast called the "Mike Scully Show" where he shares insights into football and other topics. Looking forward to catching up with Mike......

Bobby Poynton - international recording artist with the Letterman and Hollywood actor!

After graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1980 with a degree in Drama, Bobby Poynton decided to head to Hollywood to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. With $500, a beat up sports car and his Dad's credit card, he began his journey to seek fortune and fame! Like many who head to Hollywood to try an make it show biz, Bobby lived a meager existence for many years. However, he was able to get enough work to keep his dream alive! Today, he continues to tour with the vocal trio called the Letterman. The Letterman have recorded many gold albums and performed all over the world for over 50 years! Bobby, his wife Beth and daughter Callie live in Monticello, IL. Enjoy Bobby's story!

Kent Brown - University of Illinois Sports Information Director 2000-2023

"Tea or Coffee"  with Andrew Turner sat down with Kent Brown to talk about his story! Kent grew up just outside of Hammond, IL where he was a 2 sport athlete at Atwood Hammond High School. Kent graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Journalism and a MS in Athletics Administration. Kent joined the UI sports information staff in 1989 and was the UI Director of Sports Information from 2000-2023.  Kent was honored with a Lifetime Achievement recognition from the College Sports Communicators in 2023. He is a member of the IBCA Hall of Fame Class of 2024. Kent now resides in Urbana with his wife Amy! Kent continues to work part time as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Illinois. He also authored a book that can be found on Amazon...title is in the picture below! This podcast should be out over the weekend! Hope you enjoy Kent's story!

Scott Hamilton - Head Football Coach/AD - Tolono Unity High School, Tolono, IL

Scott Hamilton grew up in Roxana, IL near St. Louis. After playing 1 year of baseball at Lewis and Clark Community College, Scott moved on to finish his degree at Eastern Illinois University. Scott just completed his 31st season as the Head Football Coach at Unity High School. Scott also has been a math teacher and athletic director at Unity over those 31 years. Arriving at Unity in the mid 1990's Scott quickly turned Unity Football into a perennial football power in Illinois. Scott's teams won many conference championships and played in 6 State Championship games. Scott will retire in June. Scott met his wife Kim at Eastern and they have 3 girls: Lauren, Taylor and Anna.

Michael Finke - former University of Illinois student/athlete and professional basketball player

Michael had an outstanding basketball career as a high school player in Champaign, IL. He then moved on to have a great impact as a player for the University of Illinois and then Grand Canyon University. Finke then played professionally for several seasons . He and his wife Lexie have now returned to central Illinois where Michael is embarking on a real estate career with TeamFinke / Real Estate!

Ken Dilger - NFL Super Bowl Champion!

Ken Dilger grew up in Mariah Hill, IN, population 150! He went on to become an All Big Ten Tight End at the University of Illinois. Ken was drafted in the 1995 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He played 10 seasons in the NFL. His first seven with the Colts and the  last three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his first season(2002) with the Buccaneers they became Super Bowl Champions! Ken now lives in Carmel, IN with his wife Heidi. They have two children Jessica and Zach. Enjoy Ken's story!
