On this week’s episode, we got to have on another incredible Zinc experience partner in Jeff Staple. Jeff is an absolute pioneer in the world of design, having created one of Nike’s most famous and popular shoes in the Staple Pigeon NYC (which can now sell for as much as $100K for a single pair!). He has since collaborated with various leagues such as the NFL and NBA on team apparel, bringing a whole new level of cool to fan fashion. Jeff is a visionary and was first to jump on some of the biggest trends in his industry including e-commerce and NFT’s, which has greatly contributed to his overall success!

We decided to stay true to our SYNC UP roots on this edition of the Podcast, and got a totally new perspective on the world of experiences from a top booking agent at United Talent Agency, Greg Janese. We have partnered with Greg on countless bookings over the years, and even have built out exclusive event offerings with his incredible roster of celebrity talent. What is super unique about Greg, is he started his career on the producer side, so he really has a deep understanding of our needs and therefore never fails to deliver for Zinc! We traded stories all episode long, and might have even found ourselves a third co-host!

Fresh off the heels of being named a Top Five Golf Teacher in America by Golf Digest, we caught up with legendary swing coach Cameron McCormick. Cameron has served as a swing coach for the three time major winner Jordan Spieth every step of his career, dating all the way back to when they first started working together when Jordan was just 12 years old. At Zinc Agency, we have had the privilege of working closely with Cam on a variety of client experiences, whether it be clinics at his exclusive training facility in Dallas, or outings at courses around the country. From speaking with him on the podcast, it is quite evident that he is deeply passionate about participating in any type of programming that allows him impart his golf knowledge on attendees.  

It’s Festivus today, and you know what that means, we had to have our favorite Actor & Comedian Jason Alexander on to air his grievances.  For the first time in SYNC UP history, we had a duo join the podcast, in Jason Alexander and one of his closest friends Peter Tilden. The pair launched a podcast of their own, Really? No, Really? earlier this year. We dive into all of the burning questions that people have about Seinfeld, and chat further about how Jason & Peter have the ability to transform Really? No, Really? into the ultimate corporate event.  

We headed to outer space on this edition of the podcast. We were fortunate enough to be joined by another great friend of Zinc, Doug Hurley who was awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor earlier this year for his work as Commander of the SpaceX Crew Dragon back in 2020. This was the first commercial space flight, and a collaboration between NASA and SpaceX which was featured on the Netflix documentary Return to Space. Doug is one of the most likeable people you will meet and you can’t help but be pulled into this fascinating subject matter.

On the latest episode of the SYNC UP, we bring on our dear friend and celebrity chef Amanda Freitag. We chat through how Amanda is connected to so many of the most pivotal moments of Zinc’s history including the virtual phenomenon. We come away from the episode with an undeniable fact, Amanda will always do everything she can to make sure attendees feel special when they attend one of her events!

On this episode of the SYNC UP, we are joined by one of our favorite experience partners Michelle McKenna. Michelle is the former CIO of the NFL and originated the position with the league. She is one of our most booked and well received speakers given her expertise on the intersection of technology and sports. It was captivating to hear of her dealings with Roger Goodell and instrumental role in leading the pivot to the first ever virtual draft.
