Ep 144- Stripping made me 1.4 million after I retired!
Hey! This episode is many things! One, sharing my accomplishments! I tend to offer snippets, helpful hints and epic client wins, however my own wins continue to inspire myself and are a source of inspiration! Growing up since the 80's omg! I realise, it feels so unnatural to share wins, any of them, even once! Let alone frequently, bc back in the day, our audience were our friends, not the internet! Sharing literal numbers makes, SO MANY DANCERS FROTH! Not by shallowness or shiny object syndrome ( well likely) but also by inspiration! I recently shared my client win. She made over $300k and yes that's huge and yes that happens! That's why I loving holding people to realise their big vision! Because it happens, most certainly and a lot of of the high earners are private! It can feel awkward to talk about and I always respect peoples anonymity, however these achievements do happen! In this episode, I share about how deep and disruptive rejection sensitivity can be. Reflecting on my own journey, where cPTSD and neurodivergence made the ability to regulating my emotion hugely challenging. Rejection sensitivity whether real of perceived, is pretty hardcore to be honest. Via exposure therapy and choosing to work in a career where rejection (real or perceived/ harsh or mild) can and does happen completely outside of "normal" amounts!
