Get the Idiots out of your circle

Most of the people in your circle are idiots. And if you keep listening to idiots, you're going to become one. In this episode, Niyi breaks down exactly what makes someone an idiot, not a disability, not a lack of opportunity, but a choice to stay unaware or uninterested in truth, knowledge, and wisdom when they could pursue it. He lays out the four signs: no knowledge, no effort to get knowledge, arguing against knowledge, and running with people who do the same. Then he hits the hard truth: if you're choosing fun over growth, that makes you the idiot too. Success in sport and in life demands focus, discipline, and knowledge. Idiots don't help that mission, they slow it down. This episode is a call to take inventory of your circle. Not to react. Not to burn bridges overnight. Just notice. Watch. Take notes. Then make the intelligent decision. Ready to build the focus and discipline it actually takes to dominate? Get the free Pressure Protocol training at imnotyou.com/pressure.

How to take responsibility (the RIGHT way)

You will never be happy. You will never be successful. Not until you learn how to take responsibility. That means accepting the role you play in your world being exactly what it is right now, not 25% of it, all of it. Niyi breaks down the difference between excuses and responsibility. An excuse is a reason for your failure with one job: to protect you from the pain of failure and the weight of owning it. Responsibility is different. It's accepting the full weight of your reality with no chaser. Identifying what you did or didn't do that caused where you're at. Then identifying the new goal and taking action toward it. When you fail, go inward first. Not outward. Not at your circumstances, not at other people. No guilt. No shame. Just reality. Your goals are your responsibility. If you don't have them yet, it's usually one of three things: lack of action, lack of accountability, or no system. That's it. That's the whole diagnosis. BARS: 3 things you must do to get what you want (Bar from Ben Havn)

Everybody wants something. Success. A relationship that works. The version of themselves they see in their head. Inspired by Ben Havn's "Looking Good," Niyi breaks down the three things that actually get you there, and none of them are luck. First, you have to learn. Most of the frustration you're carrying comes from not knowing what you're doing, and getting your information from people on Instagram who don't know either. Read the books. Take the courses. Get real knowledge instead of guessing your way through life. Second, you have to believe in yourself, and that belief isn't something you just decide to have. You build it through reflection. Knowing what you want and why you want it. Facing the parts of yourself you've been avoiding instead of running from them. Third, you have to put in the work. Deep work on yourself first, then work in the world making it happen. Knowledge without action is nothing. Belief without action is nothing. Set the goal. Build the plan. Follow through until you get it. That's the whole game. 2 days left to join Lock In. $90 to lock in your one goal for 90 days. Enroll now at imnotyou.com/lockin

Don't run from your feelings. Face them.

Tough situations bring feelings. Frustration. Failure. Feeling exposed. That's not the problem. The problem is what you do next. Most people look for the nearest thing to numb it. Food. Drugs. A workout. TV. Social media. More work. Niyi breaks down why the thing you pick doesn't matter nearly as much as the fact that you're running. Every time you numb instead of feel, you're reinforcing one belief: I can't handle a feeling. That's not a KILLA. That's a ghost, dodging something that can't even touch you unless you let it. The move is the opposite. Run toward the feeling. Sit in it. Study it. Figure out what it's actually telling you. Then decide on the right action and make your move. You can't lead from Self if you're afraid of what you feel. 3 days left to decide on your #1 goal and join Lock In. Enroll now at imnotyou.com/lockin

Focus on what you want, not what you fear

Most people get thrown into a bad situation and immediately go to what they're afraid of. What they don't want. What could go wrong. That's the wrong move every time. In this episode, Niyi breaks down the one shift that changes everything in a tough situation: know what you want, and know why you want it. Not what you're avoiding. Not what scares you. What you're going after. That clarity gives you energy. That energy gives you focus. And focus is what turns into good action, the kind that starts chipping away at the bad situation piece by piece. This isn't about ignoring the problem. It's about where you put your attention when things get hard. Most people are reactive. This episode teaches you to be directed. 4 days left to join Lock In. Stop being LAZY

You want the results. You don't want the work. That's the problem. This world made you soft. It made you comfortable. It sold you a version of "success" that doesn't require sweat, hills, or throwing up on the field. Niyi breaks down why the gap between where you are and where you want to be isn't a mindset gap, it's a work gap. He pulls from his own days grinding through NFL training, the moments he wanted to quit on that hill, and the exact feeling that showed up on the other side of pushing through it. If you're waiting for motivation to show up before you put in the work, you're going to wait forever. This episode is the wake up call. Stop being lazy. Stop being delusional about what it actually takes. More is required. Embrace it. 5 days left to lock in your spot for Lock In, my new 90 day coaching program. One goal. 90 days. No distractions. What to do when overwhelmed...ATTACK (Bar from a Samurai Warrior)

Overwhelm doesn't come from the size of your goal. It comes from staring at a problem you don't have a perfect plan for and freezing instead of moving. Here's the truth. You don't need a great plan. A plan helps, but it's not the requirement. What you actually need is to attack one specific spot right in front of you. That's how momentum gets built. Not from a flawless blueprint, but from action. Make the next sale. Get the next save. Score the next bucket. Get the next stop. One move at a time. Once you've got momentum, you can sit back down and refine the plan. Restructure it. Clean it up. But it won't always be neat, and it doesn't need to be for you to move. Stop waiting for clarity before you act. Attack first. Clarity follows. Ready to build real momentum in your life? Sign up for my 3 month coaching program ,for only $90.

You are not TRACKING enough (Write everything down)

Whether you're chasing a personal best on the pitch, perfecting a golf swing, building a content brand, mastering a recipe, or showing up as the best parent you can be, the desire to be great at something is righteous. It's wired into you. But desire alone doesn't close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. In this episode, I break down the one habit that separates people who train hard from people who actually get great: writing it down. Too many well-meaning athletes and professionals think they're maximizing progress by just showing up and doing the work, training hard, experimenting, winging it. That effort is good. It's not enough. Time is your most valuable asset, and every session you don't log is a session you can't learn from. I walk through why this matters using something as simple as baking bread, how skipping the notes cost me weeks of re-learning what I already figured out, and why the same principle applies directly to your training, your reps, your sets, and your goals. If you want to move from good to great, stop winging it. Start writing it down. In this episode: Why "just doing the work" isn't the same as mastering it The real cost of not tracking your training and progress How writing things down builds the awareness you need to adjust and improve Why a clear, tracked plan is non-negotiable if you're serious about your goals Ready to build a real plan? The bigger the BEEF, the longer the CLIP (Bar from Jadakiss)

The bigger the beef, the longer the clip you need. Conflict is not a sign something is wrong. It is the size of what you are trying to accomplish. Your goal, your problem, your obstacle... that is the beef. And the clip is your capacity to handle it. More bullets. More action. More time and thought. More energy and focus. Most people underestimate what it takes to win and then wonder why the world feels like it is working against them. It is not working against you. You just brought a short clip to a long fight. I break down why respecting your opponent (the goal, the competition, the challenge) means loading up before you engage, not after you get caught short. Load the clip. Unload it. Attack. Reload. Repeat until you have what you came for. Then I ask you the only question that matters right now: what is the ONE goal that if you nailed it in the next 90 days would make this year a real win for you? Dig to the ROOTS (or Keep Struggling)

James Allen wrote it over a hundred years ago, and it's still the truest thing I know: "Whatsoever you harbor in the innermost chambers of your heart will, sooner or later, by the inevitable law of reaction, shape itself in your outward life." Your thoughts, your beliefs, your unhealed pain, they don't stay hidden. They show up as your life. In this episode I get into what's actually driving your repeated patterns of failure and frustration. It's not the market, not your team, not bad luck. It's your fear of failure. It's the belief that you're worthless underneath it all. It's your fear of being rejected. These are the roots, and until you dig to them, nothing changes. Your only job right now is honesty. Follow your feelings and ask yourself what actually feels true in this moment. That's uncomfortable, and it's the only path to real growth. The new tools, the new plans, the new team, the new relationship, the new job, the new body, the new money, none of it fixes what's underneath. Only facing the roots does.
